Assassins

Apollo galloped through the streets. His tail flowed behind him as he dodged horses.

"Apollo wait!" Abacus chased after him. "STOP!" Abacus yelled at Apollo when they made it close to Cesar's castle. Apollo put the breaks on and slid to a stop. He turned around and looked at Abacus.

"I'm getting Cadence back and there's nothing you can do to stop me." Apollo snorted. He was sick of Cesar stomping all over every pony like they were nothing but dirt.

"At least make a plan first!" Abacus walked over to Apollo. "You are going to get yourself killed doing this."

"And how do you know I don't have a plan?" Apollo raised an eye brow at Abacus.

"Alright. What is it then?" Abacus perked his ears forward ready for Apollos brilliant idea.

"Kill as many Templar horses as I need to to get Cadence!" Apollo smiled and turned around to start galloping again. Abacus jumped in front of Apollo.

"Woah pony. That's the worst plan I've ever heard." Abacus looked at Apollo.

"Well, I didn't ask for any ponies approval. Good day." Apollo went to step around Abacus but he stepped right in front of Apollo again.

"Not so fast. You are not going to step hoof beyond that wall unless you have a plan. Apollo I'm not joking. If you want Cadence to make it out alive with you, you should listen." Abacus looked at Apollo sternly.

"You're wasting my time. So if you want to make a plan please hurry up." Apollo laid his ears back and swished his tail. All he wanted to do was save Cadence. Abacus needed to stop hovering over Apollo every five seconds.

"Well your plan was awful so we have to make a whole new one." Abacus looked at the castle. Apollo mocked Abacus quietly. There was no we in this one. Just a me and that was Apollo.

Apollo stood there waiting for Abacus to respond with his new brilliant plan. Abacus was taking forever, Apollo thought he might keel over before Abacus actually told him.

Abacus stared at the castle. He looked for a way Apollo could go in but he saw nothing. He kept studying the castle going over plans in his head but got rid of all of them because Apollo would most likely get caught.

Apollo rested one of his legs as he waited. Why was this taking so long? He looked at the castle, and at the roof of the fifth story there was a balcony that led to a open window. How did Abacus not see that?

Apollo didn't want to waste his time explaining his plan to Abacus. He just wanted to know why Abacus follow him knowing he didn't have a plan. Sure Apollo never made plans but Abacus never stopped him before.

Apollo raced toward the castle. Abacus saw Apollo fly past him.

"APOLLO!" Abacus chased after him but Apollo was already to far ahead. "That colt is going to get himself killed!" Abacus snorted trying to see if he could spot Apollo anywhere but he had no luck.

Apollo galloped along the bottom of the wall. He looked up trying to see if guards were any where on this section. Apollo jumped up onto the back of a cart and jumped up to the top of the wall.

Apollos back hoof slipped and he slid off the top of the wall but held on with his front hooves. Just in time as a Templar guard walked passed with 2 others. They didn't notice him.

Apollo pulled himself back up and watched the guards walk down the wall. He snuck after the guards not being noticed.

The second story roof of one wing of the castle came close to the wall. Apollo leaped from the wall to the roof and galloped along it. He jumped up the walls and began climbing on the ledges.

A few of the windows were open as Apollo went, but none of them were the ones he wanted. He peaked into one of the Windows as he climbed, hearing Cesar's voice.

Cesar stood in the center of the room talking to Rodrigo, a big black draft who wore a big carriage tack type outfit with gold chains and a cross in the front. Rodrigo must have said something that Cesar didn't want to hear because Cesar bucked the table behind him and it flipped across the room. Cesar reared and stormed out of the room.

Apollo rolled his eyes. Cesar was so annoying because he always blew everything out of proportion. Apollo continued to climb and finally made it to the fifth story roof. He looked in the window and saw Ebony, Cesar's sister.

Apollo walked to the window and listened to what was happening.

"Apollo will come to save me! You'll never get away with this!" Cadence snorted at Ebony and tried to snap at her through the bars on her cell. Ebony laughed and dangled the keys just out of Cadences reach. Apollo snuck into the room.

"Well my brother could beat your little stallion to the ground with one hoof!" Ebony laughed and tossed the keys into the air. Apollo grabbed them.

"Thank you!" Apollo smirked and looked at Ebony. Ebony backed up scared.

"Assassin. When my brother gets up here!" Ebony stopped to call her brother. "CE...." Ebony was stopped by Apollo. He tackled her to the ground and held her mouth shut.

"I don't think you should have other horses fight your battles for you." Apollo smirked and tossed the keys to Cadence. She unlocked her cell door and trotted out. "Cadence would you be ever so kind and hand me that rope over there." Apollo nodded toward where the rope was because he couldn't point at that moment.

Cadence nodded and grabbed the rope. She handed it to Apollo. Ebony squirmed around on the floor trying to get free. Apollo tied Ebony's legs together. He took his hoof off her mouth on accident as he tied her legs.

"CESAR!" Ebony screamed at the top of her lungs. The scream paralyzed Apollo. How could he have moved his hoof?! Apollo scrambled to cover Ebony's mouth but it was already to late.

Cesar threw the door open and made eye contact with Apollo almost instantly. Cesar towered over Apollo but he was no where near as skilled. Apollo sheepishly smiled.

"Run!" Apollo spun around. Cadence followed right beside Apollo. The two jumped through the window. Cesar chased after the two.

Apollo and Cadence galloped along the roof tops. Cadence slipped every now and then but managed to keep going. The two stopped at the edge of the five story roof.

"Do you trust me?" Apollo smiled at Cadence. He saw Cesar getting closer.

"Of course!" Cadence smiled at Apollo. She loved his bright blue eyes. Apollo leaned toward Cadence. She closed her eyes and leaned toward him. Apollo softly shoved Cadence off of the roof into the hay stack below. He jumped after her.

Cesar looked down at the hay stack. He saw both of them and whinnied.

"I hate you so much right now!" Cadence snorted in Apollos face. Apollo laughed and galloped out of the Castles walls, Cadence followed closely behind him.

"You can't run forever assassin!" Cesar stomped his hoof and whinnied loudly as he watched the two gallop away.
