Matt's POV

I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, she was beautiful, I mean she was always beautiful, but today she looked perfect. She'd pulled away from me in the kitchen but that wasn't going to stop me, I wanted Ana, I needed her, she was my life and I wasn't going to let her get away. I'd make it up to her and I was prepared to do anything.
"You look happy." Brian said, handing me a beer.
"Yeah I am." I told him, nodding.
"Did you and Ana sort it out?"
"Not yet, but I'm not leaving her alone until she forgives me."
"That's the spirit." He said, slapping me on the back.
"Daddy." Charlotte called, from the jumping castle. "Come on."
Her and Gabriella were jumping away, laughing.
"Come on." Brian said grinning.
We ran over, pulling off our shoes and jumping in with the girls. It was fun, and the girls were laying on the bottom while we jumped around them, bouncing them in the air.
"How old are you two?" Sophie asked.
"Babe it's fun." Brian said, bouncing around.
"Mommy." Charlotte giggled. "Come on."
She looked at me and rolled her eye's and I held out my hand for her. I was pleased to see her take off her shoes, but she ignored my hand, getting on herself.
"Mommy." Gabriella said. "You too."
"Ugh." Sophie groaned. "Unfortunately your father has impregnated me again with a devil child so I can't."
"I don't know Soph." Brian said bouncing. "You seemed to be a willing participant." He grinned.
She shook her head walking off and I looked at Ana and Charlotte who were holding hands, jumping.
"Can I join?" I asked, jumping over.
"Of course daddy." Charlotte said, dropping one of Ana's hands and grabbing mine. I reached over and grabbed Ana's other hand.
Honestly it turned out to be the best party I'd been to in a long time, everyone had fun and it was so good to see Ana smiling, and she was smiling at me.
"Here." Sophie said handing me a beer.
Everyone else had left, so it was only Ana, Sophie, Brian, myself and the girls left. The girls were inside putting some toy together.
"I'm exhausted." Ana said, plonking into a seat. "And look at this mess."
We looked around, she was right, it was a mess.
"Come on, let's clean it now, before we get too comfortable."
So the four of us cleaned up, but honestly we were all exhausted.
"Those girls are awfully quiet." Sophie eventually said, and her and Ana wandered inside.
"I've had a great day." Brian told me, when the girls had left. "Seeing you and Ana, I don't know, it feels good."
I nodded standing up. "Yeah it does."
I went inside, looking for the girls and I found them in Charlottes toy room, looking down at three sleeping princesses.
"I guess this is our cue to leave." Sophie said, smiling down at them. "They're so precious when they're sleeping, which isn't often enough."
Ana smiled, she knew as well as I did that those girls and Brian were Sophies life.
"Grab your babes." She ordered Brian, when he came in.
"I'll take her up to her room." I told Ana.
"Thanks." She smiled.
I bent down, scooping her into my arms and her eye's fluttered open.
"I don't want to go to bed daddy." She whispered.
"The party is over and you're pooped." I told her, carrying her up the stairs and into her room.
"Can I stay in my princess clothes?"
"Of course, I don't think mommy will mind." I whispered, kissing her forehead.
By the time I put her in bed she was already asleep and I tiptoed out, turning the light off.
"I think I'll just clean the rest tomorrow." Ana told me as I walked down the stairs.
"I'll help." I told her. "And you and I can, you know, talk."
She nodded, looking around awkwardly.
"I think I might head home." I said, heading for the door.
She smiled, following me. "Thank you so much for your help." She told me.
I opened the door, turning to her. "You're welcome Ana, anyway I'll see you tomorrow."
"Yep, tomorrow." She said softly.
I smiled. "Goodnight my princess." And I was happy to see her smile back.
"Goodnight prince charming." She laughed, shaking her head.
I reached out, touching her cheek, then I leant over, kissing her softly. I closed my eye's, I'd missed this, her, so much.
"Goodnight." I whispered against her lips.
I turned and walked out to my car, I was smiling, I couldn't help myself. Kissing Ana had made me realize just how much I missed her and the best part, Ana hadn't pulled away.
