Charlotte's POV

I looked pretty, well I think I looked pretty, I wanted to look pretty. We were going to visit Gram and Grampy and then we were going somewhere for lunch and then to daddy's house, because he was coming home.
I put my hand over my mouth. I couldn't stop smiling because my daddy was coming back to live with us and I was so happy.
I grabbed my hair bands and brush so mommy could do my hair and I went downstairs. I walked into the living room and stopped. Yuck. Mommy and daddy were kissing again, that's all they'd been doing was kissing, yuck. I would never kiss someone like that, ever. It looked like they were eating eachother and it looked yucky. They must like it because they kept doing it but I don't know why.
"Mommy." I said watching as they finally stopped.
"Come here." She said and I went over and sat down while she did my hair.
"Ready?" Daddy asked.
We got in the car and daddy drove. I sat in the back watching mommy and daddy holding hands and talking, and I was still smiling because I was happy.
Daddy stopped and got some flowers then we went to the place Gram and Grampy were at.
We walked together, daddy holding my hand and mommy's and we got there we all sat on the bench together.
Mommy talked a bit to them, but this time she wasn't crying like before and she put her head on daddy's shoulder.
I looked at Grammy's stone, I was learning to read now so I could read it.

"Mommy who's Joshua? "
Mommy sat up and looked at me. "He's your uncle."
"How come I've never seen him?"
She sighed and opened her mouth, but nothing came out.
"Well." Daddy said. "After gram died everyone was really sad and Josh went away because he didn't like being sad all the time."
I nodded, I could understand because when mommy and daddy were away from eachother they were sad and I wanted to run away.
"Will I see him one day?"
"No Charlotte." Mommy said softly. "I don't think so."
"Why not?" I asked.
Mommy got up. "Let's go." She said walking off.
Daddy and I sat there watching her.
"Did I do something wrong daddy?"
"No baby, it's just hard for your mom. Her and Uncle Josh were very close and one day he just left. It made your mom sad." Daddy told me.
I bit my lip, poor mommy.
"Come on." Dad said standing up and holding out his arms. "Time to go."
Daddy carried me back to the car where mommy was waiting. She smiled at me, but she looked sad.
"Lunch time." She said leaning over and kissing my nose.
Daddy put me down and while I got in the car he hugged mommy, whispering in her ear. I don't know what he said but she smiled and kissed him.
"What will we have for lunch?" Daddy asked.
"Surprise us." Mommy told him and he did.
He took us to a fancy place with lots of stuff on the table. I liked it but the worst part was deciding what fork I should use. There were three to chose from.
I was very full and after lunch we drove over to daddy's place.
"Get some stuff you want to take Charlotte." Daddy told me as he lets us in.
"Wow, this is nice." Mommy said.
I forgot mommy had never been here before. She'd dropped me off but never come inside.
I watched as she looked around and she seemed shocked to see the pictures of her that daddy had in frames. I thought daddy had too many pictures of her but what would I know, according to Gabby it had something to do with love and probably wrestling too.
I went into my room to look at my stuff and well because mommy and daddy were whispering and kissing again. I had to decide what to take, but I had so much stuff, I just didn't know.
I layed on my bed to think about it and I did, but my eye's got heavy, too heavy to keep open.
I decided to close them for a minute.
