Charlotte's POV
I opened my eye's. I was tired. Gabby and I had sat up very late talking and now I wished I hadn't, I wished I had gone to sleep when Nona told us too. Besides all Gabby had been talking about was Stewart, from our class and how much she hated him. She didn't hate him. I wasn't that silly.
I climbed out of the bed that Gabby and I were sharing. Gabby was still sleeping, I sort of wanted to wake her but I didn't, I was very quiet. I went out to the kitchen. Nona and Aunty Sophie were sitting in there, drinking coffee, talking.
"Good morning." Nona said to me, hugging me.
"Morning Nona." I said hugging her back. "Morning." I said going to Aunt Sophie and kissing her.
"Let me guess." Aunt Sophie said. "Gabriella kept you up all night talking?"
I nodded. "She did."
"Ugh." She groaned. "She's just too much like her father."
That was true. Gabby acted and talked a lot like Uncle Brian, and she even looked like him too.
"Hopefully this one will love me." Aunty Sophie said rubbing her tummy.
Nona walked over and kissed the top of Aunty Sophie's head. "Your babes all love you." She told her. "They love their momma very much."
"Yeah right." Aunt Sophie said standing up. "You ready to go home young lady?"
I nodded. I was very ready. "Thank you for letting me stay." I told Nona, hugging her.
"You're very welcome Charlotte." She said, hugging and kissing me.
"Why can't my kids be that polite." Aunty Sophie mumbled to herself.
Nona rolled her eye's at me and we followed Aunty Sophie to the door. "I'll be back to get the other." She told Nona.
"No rush honey."
I climbed into Aunt Sophie's car and as soon as she started driving I felt my eye's getting heavy, stupid Gabriella and her boy talk.
"Char." I opened my eye's. We were home and daddy was leaning in the car, smiling at me.
"I fell asleep."
"You did." He said holding out his arms.
I climbed out of the car and let daddy carry me inside. He carried me into the kitchen and placed me on a stool.
"Really Ana?" Aunt Sophie said.
Mommy was making coffee, well she was trying too, Addie had her arms wrapped around her neck and she was looking at her mother through my mommy's hair, glaring at her more like it.
"Yes." Mom said. "and this time can you please organise it?"
"Organise what?" I asked Mommy.
"Your daddy asked mommy to marry him." Aunt Sophie said smiling at me.
I looked at mommy then I looked at daddy. I thought they were already married?
"Again." Daddy said, kissing the top of my head. "I asked mommy to marry me again."
"Why?" Grown ups were weird.
"Why not." Aunt Sophie said.
I shrugged. If my mom and dad wanted to get married again I was okay with that.
I watched daddy walk over and kiss mommy. I looked at Aunt Sophie and rolled my eye's. I was getting sick of all this kissing.
"And." Mommy said placing a coffee in front of Aunt Sophie. "We've decided on something else."
"Well are you going to tell me?" Aunt Sophie asked. "Come to your Momma." Aunt Sophie said to Addie.
"No." Addie said wrapping her arms around my mom tighter. "Ana is my momma."
"No she's not." I told her. She was my momma and I wasn't sharing her with anybody.
"We made an appointment with the specialist." Daddy said.
I watched Aunt Sophie smile. "Really Ana?" She asked. "You did?"
Mommy sat down, still with Addie hanging onto her. "Yes." She said. "We're going to at least discuss our options."
"What options?" I asked. I wanted to know what on earth they were talking about and I wanted to know what a specialist was.
"A baby." Mommy said quietly.
A baby? My mommy couldn't have anymore babies. Something had happened to my mommy when I was born and there would be no more babies for her.
"Don't worry about it." Daddy told me and I shrugged. I wasn't really worried about it anyway.
"Come here." Aunt Sophie said, holding out her arms to Addie.
Addie shook her head and held onto my mommy, looking at Aunt Sophie with a grumpy look on her face. "No."
Poor Aunty Sophie. I shook me head and climbed down, hugging Aunty Sophie. I loved her, even if Addie didn't.
"Oh sweety." Aunt Sophie said to me, helping me climb onto her lap so I could hug her even more. "Thank you Charlotte."
"I love you Aunty Sophie." I told her kissing her.
"NOOOOOOOOOO." Addie screamed. "MY MOMMA."
My mommy put her down and Addie ran over to us. I got down and Aunt Sophie picked her up, kissing her all over the face. "My momma." She said laying her head on Aunt Sophie's shoulder.
I didn't mind, now I had my momma back.
"Mommy." I said yawning. "Can I please have a nap?"
Mommy smiled at me and daddy picked me up. "Of course you can."
I smiled and let daddy carry me up to my room.
"Is mommy really going to have a baby?" I asked daddy as he layed me on my bed.
"Maybe." He whispered, kissing me. "I hope so."
Yeah well I didn't hope so. I didn't want a baby. They were noisy and they were messy and I didn't want to share my mommy and daddy with anybody. They were my mommy and daddy and this baby could just go away.
