Pairing: Blohyuk

Summary: Eunhyuk calls out Tablo to celebrate. Continuation to the Prologue

-----

His birthday started off like most of the others, and it seemed like it was going to finish the same. There was cake, candles, his friends, and alcohol. And what more could the birthday boy need?

So what if Eunhyuk didn't end up calling Tablo to celebrate with him? And so what if he ended up spending a good portion of the night avoiding Leeteuk's glares for not having done so?

In order for two people to carry out a conversation successfully, there had to be words. Some kind of speech, some pointless combination of sentences. Eunhyuk didn't have any of those when it came to Tablo. Sure, there were the clumsy hello hyung's and stuttered thank you's, but nothing solid that held much meaning.

In the end, Eunhyuk didn't call him because he didn't know what to say. But after hearing this so-called reason, Leeteuk ended up stealing the boy's phone and drunk-dialing the man himself.

"Yo, Tablo," mouths the tipsy leader into the phone. "I've got a secret to tell y—"

Eunhyuk quickly clasps his hands over the other's mouth and begs him, "Don't, hyung. Please," he whispers.

Leeteuk stares at him—there's not many people who could resist Eunhyuk's pleading face, especially if they happened to be drunk. "Fine, but you better talk with him and you better hang out with him tonight. Or else I'm going to throw away that CD he gave you."

The boy looks at him hopelessly, fully aware that he would do just that. "Alright. Give me the phone."

Leeteuk smiles to himself and drops the phone into Eunhyuk's hands. "My pleasure."

"Tablo? You still there?"

"Yeah, is Leeteuk alright? He sounds... different," Tablo says, and Eunhyuk casts a glance at his leader who had stumbled away and was now busying himself with one of the sleeves on Kyuhyun's jacket, the boy looking completely annoyed and brushing Leeteuk's hands off him.

He rolls his eyes and apologizes, "Sorry, he's a bit drunk tonight."

"Oh, your birthday is today, right?" asks the man on the other line.

"Yeah."

"Um, well... happy birthday. Did you listen to the CD yet?"

"Not yet." He pauses for a moment. That made it sound like I didn't care about it. "Er... I haven't had enough free time to sit down and really listen to anything these past couple days," he adds, and he hopes that Tablo doesn't get the wrong idea.

"Well, when you do listen to it tell me how you like it. I wasn't sure what kind of music you liked so I just put random stuff together."

"Okay."

There was a few moments of silence before Tablo says, "Um... so what did you call me for? Or was Leeteuk the one that called?"

"Oh, right. Uh..." Eunhyuk looks around for Leeteuk and finds him sniffing Sungmin's hair, the boy trying his best to fend him off and Yesung laughing loudly as he watches. He shakes his head. "Yeah. Do you want to hang out tonight? Are you busy?" Eunhyuk holds his breath waiting for his answer.

"No, I'm not really doing anything right now. Should I meet you there, or..."

"Well, everyone's kind of drunk right now and they don't look like they're going anywhere anytime soon. I was thinking it'd just be you and me." Eunhyuk stops. "Um... if it's alright with you, that is," he quickly says.

There's a slight pause and then what sounds like a cough before Tablo replies, "Yeah, that's fine. Should I come pick you up then?"

"Is that alright? I would have Shiwon drive, but he's preoccupied at the moment," says Eunhyuk. Actually, he didn't even know where the guy was. And Hankyung was missing, too, so who knows what they could be doing.

"It's no problem. I'll come by and pick you up in a few. See you soon," Tablo says and then hangs up.

Eunhyuk closes his phone and breathes out a breath that he seems to have been holding in the entire time.

"So, how did it go?" asks a voice behind him. It was Leeteuk, looking a bit more sober and with a reddish-pink spot near his cheek.

"What happened there?" Eunhyuk questions as he squints at the leader's face.

"I was sniffing Sungmin's hair and he punched me like I was molesting him or something," Leeteuk explains as he touches his cheek. "Have you smelled that boy's hair before? It smells like honey and sweet stuff. It's weird! It's like he washes his hair with cake and pastries or something!"

Eunhyuk just laughs. He's always wondered how someone so childish is able to hold a group of 13 boys together so well. Of course there are times when they all want to give up and go their separate ways, but Leeteuk was always there to keep them together and talk them through it.

"The phone call?" Leeteuk asks again.

"Oh, the phone call..." Eunhyuk shuffles uneasily. "He's going to pick me up in a few minutes."

"Oh my god!" Leeteuk exclaims. "Did you hear that, guys?" The leader turns around and yells out, "Lil' Hyukkie is going to lose his virginitytonight!" The rest of the room stops for a moment, some people laughing and others just shaking their heads at the spectacle Leeteuk was creating all by himself.

Eunhyuk pushes him lightly on the arm, being careful not to push too hard otherwise the drunkard might fall over. "I'm not a virgin!" he says defiantly.

"Maybe not with a woman," the man replies easily, a grin crossing his face when he sees Eunhyuk blush.
