Rarity's pov
I ran back and forth in my boutique,"Brown? No. Red? Oh rarity, why would he ever wear red? Blue? No. It might blend in to much..." I kept mumbling things like that to myself.
Why you ask?
The grand galloping gala is tomorrow night! And I was trying my best to make a tuxedo for blue paint, but I just can't make it perfect!
Twilight walked in with spikey wikey beside her,"hey rarity! What are you doing?" Twilight watched me run side to side,"I'm trying to make a perfect tux for blue paint." I stopped running to catch my breath,"woah rarity, you don't look so good." Spike pointed to my mane,"what do you mean darling?" I looked at my mane in a mirror, I gasped,"eww, eww, eww, eww! Get it off, get it off!" My mane was a complete mess! Spike snickered at my reaction,"Calm down rarity. Now, what were you saying about a tux for blue paint?" Twilight said calmly,"Oh, I am making a tuxedo for blue paint because, well... do you know what it's like to 'like' somepony?" I blushed a tiny bit,"erm...no." twilight shrugged, spike rolled his eyes,"Well, I am
making a tux for blue paint to try and make up for everything he's done for me. But it's not...good enough." I mumbled the last part, twilight looked sad for me,"rarity, if you two are good friends, then I think he'll like it even if it isn't perfect." She smiled weakly at me,"I knew it! It isn't perfect!" I ran back over to it and ripped off the orange tie,"Rarity, Calm down!" Spike yelled, I sighed,"It's easier said then done..." I mumbled to myself,"Rarity, we have to go. Please don't do anything crazy." Twilight said walking towards the exit and spike jumped on her back, then they left.
Leaving me alone,I sighed,"Back to work I guess..."
I thought and thought, what color does blue paint love?
Wait a minute,
I threw on a purple tie,
it looked...Define!
"Mew." I looked beside me, opal was sitting next to me,"Oh opal, what do you think? To scruffy?
To plain?" I worried a little,"Meow." Opal jumped on the ponykin wearing the tux,"Your right opal, I shouldn't worry so much... so now off to bed!" I smiled and walked towards my room,"Mew." Opal walked beside me,"Your right, mabey I should take a bath before going to bed."
Opal nodded, I walked into the bathroom and had a bubble bath.
After that I went to bed, I had a wonderful dream.
It was all about blue paint, and he was dancing with me, so gracefully. Then at sunset we were at a hill having a picnic, he was going to kiss me! But I woke up before he could....
I sighed and got out of bed.
I still need to fix the finishing touches to blue paints tuxedo.
"Rarity? Are you here?" I know that voice, it was blue paint!
"Yes darling, I'm here!" I yelled slightly to him. oh goodness rarity, blue paint, the one you love. Is going to see you and you didn't even brush your mane!
"Oh, there you are rarity! Listen I have something to ask you. Will yo-- What's that?" Blue paint seen the tux behind me,"Umm...Nothing." I smiled weakly at him,"Your a bad lier. But come on, we're friends, you can tell me!" He walked closer to me,I sighed,"The tux is for you..." I blushed a tiny bit, he blushed to,"Why is it for me?" He walked over to it and inspected it,I turned away,"I made it for you to wear at the galla. So you could impress your 'Plus 1'..." I sighed at the thought of blue paint going to the galla with a different mare,"Well... does it impress you?" I looked at him, he was wearing the tux! He looked cute in it,"Yes, why do you ask?" He smiled at me,"I came here to ask you, if you will be my Plus 1." I squealed,"Yes! I'd love to, darling!" I hugged him, he hugged back, time to get my dress out,"Darling, I'll be right back." I smiled and walked away.
When I got my dress on I walked over to blue paint,"What do you think?" I batted my eyelashes at him, he seen me and his jaw dropped. I giggled,"Y-you look amazi-ing." He said blushing,"Thank you darling." I walked up to him, and pecked him on the cheek. He blushed, I giggled at him.
We spent the rest of the day together.
And when it was time to go to the galla, we went together...
We had a wonderful time there.
And what princesses might want to happen on a night like this, happened to me! Thats right, he said he loved me! And now... He is my special somepony♥...~
