Reader's POV
I was down in sweet apple acres, I was helping Applebloom harvest all the apples. Applejack was out doing something with a magic map, big Mac was busy helping Granny Smith, Sweetie belle and Scootaloo were out doing something, most likely a crusade. So I was the only one there to help Applebloom. I ain't complaining or anything, I liked helping Applebloom, and she seemed to like me helping as well. Applebloom and I carried the last crates into the barn and Applebloom looked like she seriously wanted something, big Mac walked in with granny Smith, big Mac picked up one of the crates,"There, we finished gathering all the apples! Can we please go now? Please!" Applebloom pleaded with puppy eyes, I found that really cute."Well, we did make a deal, and a deal is a deal. So run along. But be back by dark." Granny Smith smiled,"Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes! Thank you!" Applebloom cheered as she jumped around happily, I have no idea what she was talking about... Applebloom ran towards the barn door,"Come on, (Y/N)!" Applebloom whined slightly,"Okay, okay, I'm coming." I giggled and followed Applebloom somewhere. Applebloom had led me to the gazebo, there was food set up there, almost like it was a picnic."Uhhhh, Applebloom? What is this?" I asked,"A picnic of course, silly! I set it up for ya to thank ya." Applebloom smiled,"When?" I asked, hiding my blush,"Ya know when I said I'd go get the crate we forgot over in the orchard? Well.... This is why I was gone for awhile." Applebloom chuckled nervously, her cheeks were a bright shade of pink, mine were no different. I was blushing because I had a crush on Applebloom for along time, so whenever she does things for me, even simple things like this, makes me blush. And Applebloom blushing made me blush more!... Applebloom sat down,"Well, don't just stand there! Come sit with me!" Applebloom smiled brightly, I hesitantly sat down right beside her,"Oh, am I in your way? Sorry." Applebloom said and scootched over, I stayed quiet and looked down at the food. One thing that caught my was the flower vase in the middle, it had five (f/f) flowers in it, and there was a note attached to one. I grabbed it to read it, it simply said 'Thanks for being you! ♥' I blushed again,"Oh yeah, that note. I tried finding one that said 'thanks for the help' but that was the closest I could get it, even though that weird heart is there, I didn't want to get one that was too flirty. Because why would I give my friend something flirty? That would be so silly! And it would be weird to have it for this simple friend picnic!" Applebloom giggled her cute giggle and she began to eat some food. Of course, this is a 'just friends' thing... again........ I'm probably stuck in the friend zone forever.....
