(A/N: For those that don't know, Preston: Has pale tan skin, dirty blond hair, and green eyes. This is Equestria girls (again), and let me just say.... I hate myself for making this....)
Preston's pov
Life here is amazing! Everyone is so nice to me! But I could easily tell this is the tampered time line, because Ender's not here and everyone is still acting different from how the normal story parts were before Ender changed and left. But still, everyone is nice. And I listened to Ender, her old room is now mine, and whenever I need help with something I go to Dark flames, and I do my best not to piss her off... And here's a thing, I keep finding small hidden things in my room, like small trap doors that I haven't explored yet, hidden rooms, secret weapons, and weird things that look like someone was building something. I guess this is all Ender's stuff, and all this in her room makes her even cooler! But... I kinda miss her...
Later that night when everyone was sleeping I took a flashlight and went down under the floor to explore one of the hidden rooms. There was a long spiral staircase leading down into the dark under ground, I started walking... It was dark down there, I quickly turned on the flashlight, It helped a little but not a lot. With the light of the flashlight I found a switch, I flicked it and the whole place lit up. This place seems cool! Like up in my room there was some inventions of some kind. One caught my eye, it was a thick royal blue board with two green spots on it shaped like two shoe pads that looked a little like a skate board but has no wheels, on the bottom there was two wide light blue circles. Interested, I got on it, it immediately lifted off the ground. I was surprised by that but kept calm, I kept it as balanced as I could but ended up leaning back a little, the board started to move forward. I got a small idea, I leaned a little more back, it went faster, I smirked and leaned back more, it went super fast. I quickly learned how to use it, like how to speed up, slow down, stop, back up, turn, and I had fun flying around the giant room! But after awhile I got tired and went back upstairs, and I took the board with me, there's no way I'm leaving something so fun down in the dark left to be forgotten! I slid it under my bed and crawled under the covers and fell asleep... The only thing I dreamed about was Ender.... Gee, she's really getting into my head....
The next day I bumped into Dark flames,"Oh, hey, Dark flames!" I smiled,"Hey..." Dark flames whispered and didn't smile back,"Can I ask you something?" I asked,"You just did." Dark flames huffed,"Pfft, you're funny! But anyway, I found this really cool room and I think you might know about things in it, mind coming with me?" I asked shyly, she lightly shook her head no and we walked down to the room far under ground. Dark flames was the one to turn on the light, and she walked around like she knew about everything down here."Do you know about this place?" I asked, Dark flames nodded,"Ender and I are friends, she'd come down her often and I got to see this place once in a while, I would normally just watch her build another stupid machine..." Dark flames answered,"Cool." I smiled, she didn't smile back,"Hey, wanna see something cool?" Dark flames asked,"Sure." I replied,"Follow me." Dark flames nudged her head to the side, I followed her to the corner of the giant room. There was a weird machine thing with a panel of a whole bunch of different buttons and different flashing lights,"What is that?" I asked,"..It's another machine Ender built in her spare time, but unlike the others this one is made for normies. It's a teleportation machine that could also be used as a time travel machine..." Dark flames explained in her normal calm and emotionless voice,"I never knew Ender built things like this." I admitted,"That's because these are hidden and Ender doesn't use or build anything while it's time to be in another stupid story part.." Dark flames answered,"Wait, you know about the whole being in a story as well?" I asked, a little surprised, Dark flames lightly nodded,"Ender told me about it and I could easily tell when the story parts start and end, her and I both can. To us it's obvious..." Dark flames explained slightly,"Oh... And what did you mean by 'normies'?" I asked,"That's what Ender and I call normal people, we're both abnormal so yeah, we call normal people normies." Dark flames answered with a small shrug, I nodded. I looked back at the machine,"So, does it work?" I asked, changing the subject,"Yes. Need proof? Get in." Dark flames pointed at the door to the machine,"No, I believe you." I smiled weakly at her,"But I'd still like to try it." I said shyly,"Get in, then." Dark flames replied as she walked over to the panel,"Wh-what? Why me? What if it's not safe?" I panicked,"It's totally safe, Preston. Wanna try it or not?" Dark flames scoffed,"I..... Can I take stuff with me?.." I asked, Dark flames nodded lightly,"Sweet, I'll be right back!" I smiled and bolted upstairs. I grabbed a special bag I found down in the giant room off my desk, it was special because whatever goes inside shrinks so I could put a lot of things in it, and whoever uses it, the bag changes to their favorite color. So it was green whenever I used it. I put the really cool board in there, as expected it shrunk inside the bag. I grabbed a few other things I thought I might need but I didn't take more than I needed. Then I went back downstairs with the bag,"I see you found that bag." Dark flames said when she saw the bag I had on my back, I nodded. I got into the machine, the door closed behind me, leaving only the small circular window to look out of. Dark flames gave me thumbs-up and she pushed something, everything around me vanished and a blinding white light was all around me until I fell onto hard, jagged, rock ground.
