Book Two of Don't Say No

"Nooo!" I yelled. My heart ached as I grabbed my shirt and squeezed. Not again, I thought as tears ran down my face. For the past seven years. I have been having the same recurring dream. A dream that has hunted me to my core.

"Morning chief." Officer Michael yelled from his chair like he always does at eight o' clock. When Officer Brown walks through the door.

Scratching my head I sighted. Throwing my blankets off of me I swung my feet over the edge of the bed. "Morning Michael." I said for Officer Brown. Brown never talks in the morning. He mostly walks in his office and asks for his coffee.

"Where's my coffee!" Officer Brown yelled. Yup, like always. Getting up off the bed I stretched my arms in the air and moved my hips side to side. When I was done I walked over to my computer and five TV screens. I sat on my computer chair Indian style as I looked at the screens.

Everything was normal. It's been three weeks since a case came up for me. Every supernatural case they had I solved in three days or less. But there is one case I haven't solved. A case I found five years ago. I glanced at the closed vanilla folder. Picking it up, I opened it. A small picture of a woman with long hair. Blond but you could tell that it was really brown.

It read the file of notes she wrote: 'Name Dawn Moore.

Missing of April of 2010. Was kidnapped but was found on May 27, 2013. Was living with a friend, named Morgan Green. August 13, 2013, Miss. Moore therapist came to see her for an appointment. Miss. Green was very upset with the therapist saying that Miss. Moore had been missing for almost four years. She seemed to have forgotten that she had friend living with her.

Miss. Green has also don't another missing report on Miss. Moore's cat. Mr. Piccolo.

Police stopped looking believing that Miss. Moore had left on her own free will for there was no struggle and that all her stuff was gone. Later Miss. Green was put into an asylum. Reasons are unknown.'

Closing the folder I yawned. Throwing the folder on the keyboard I leaned back. The one case I never solved. I'll fine who ever killed you. I promise.

"Did you hear about the new guy from Europe?" someone said.

I took my attention to the screen. "Yea. His from Italy right? I hope his hot." Officer Miller said. Officer Miller may have bed every officer who wasn't married in the police force. She was known as the one night stand wonder. "What was his name, again?"

She stood my Officer Michael's desk as a female officer walked passed her. "Victor Wolff." She stopped and turned. "And married." She added.

"I thought he was a widow."

"Shut up Michael." The woman hissed.

"Sorry, Wednesday." Officer Michael lowered his head.

"Michael, Miller, Wednesday, we got a dead body on we got a body on Church Street!" Officer Brown yelled from his office.

Church Street? That's two blocks away. "Well back to work." I smiled. Rushing off my chair I quickly grabbed my over side knitted sweater and a pair of jeans. Grabbing my shoes from under my bed I took the sock out of them and put them on. Once I had my shoes on I quickly ran into the bathroom to brush my teeth. Once I was done I quickly ran out of the bathroom and grabbed my camera along with my oversized sunglasses and knitted hat.
