What have I done? I covered my face with my hands. I couldn't believe what I did. This maybe worst then the time my sister letting those men come in our room as the touched and drank from her. Those damn vampires. Now I'm inviting one of those bloodsucker here who may be the killer. Leaning in my chair I thought maybe Dawn could or would speak to me again. Tell me what to do? If I was doing right?
"Don't let them wake. You must stop him."
Who, was the question. Who was Victor Wolff? Who was the killer? Who was Dawn talking about? And who was Crevan? Four questions without answers. Damn.
Nothing in my mind was finding any answers. All I knew was that my life was in danger. Groaning, I got up off my chair and walked over to the bed. Lying down I closed my eyes to sleep. Just for a little. Victor would have to finish up work and help out Dave the police Officer about how he has no memory running up a roof. Victor believed the Runaway. He believes me.
He will come for me.
"Tomorrow night. I'll come for you, little one"
I have until tomorrow. Dawn, please help me.
Today's ocean breeze was very peaceful. Taking a deep breath it felt like I was taking all the stress out of my body. I took my attention to the ocean and watched it. Waiting for her to appear. Slowly walking to the ocean the spirits had appeared for they may cross the ocean. And on the other side was a place more peaceful then this place.
Many times I wondered why my sister never fully crossed. My idea was that maybe she was dead but something is stopping her from crossing. My other thought was if she was in a coma of some sort. But I never seen this before.
Standing at the tip of the ocean I stood there patiently waiting for her. I stood there for some time. Within 30 seconds I relised I was not patiently waiting. I was getting annoyed and frustrated. Why was 30 seconds feeling like 30 years? Why was she not coming?
Behind me I heard footsteps making me turn around. For some odd reason I thought maybe just maybe that it would be Dawn. But it was only a spirit ready to cross. It was a woman with long brown hair, hazel eyes, and dressed in a long white nightgown. The nightgown looked to have been something someone from the 17 or 18 century would wear for bed. But she was beautiful. She almost looked like my sister but she wasn't.
She walk beside me and stopped. She had no emotions as her eyes were fixed on the other side of the water.
"Edea?"
"Ah?" it was Dawns voice. Taking my attention I found her waist deep in the water like always. She gave me a gentle smile but it slowly faded when she looked over to the woman next to me.
"Edea, you must stop him. Stop him from waking them." She sounded as if she was ready to cry.
"Who?" I felt like an owl at this point.
Behind her I watched four people come out of the water. They grabbed, pulling her down into the water as she reached out towards me. "Dawn!" I yelled ready to get in the water by I knew I couldn't. It wouldn't like me cross but I wasn't the barrier that stopped me it was the woman in the nightgown. She rested her hand on my shoulder and once I turned my head I could see pain in her eyes.
"You must not let us wake, Edea. Crevan must be stopped," within a mere seconds wings came out of her stretching out wide. They were long, brown with white tips. They were beautiful.
"Who are you?" she didn't say anything. She just focused on me telling me that whatever the hell was going on was not good and I'm in the middle of it.
