The sound of the Ocean breeze filled my ears as I lifted my heavy eye lids. Lazily looking around, I wasn't were I thought I would be. I was under the bright sun. My body wasn't laying on sand. Where was I?

"Edea?" Victor leaned over the side of my head.

"Victor, did you die too?" I whispered.

He smiled and shook his head, "No. And you're not ether."

I pulled myself up as Victor helped me. "I don't understand. Melantha, she..." I pushed the blanket off and ran my hands over my stomach. My eye widen as I pulled my shirt up to see a red mark were the wound had been. Gently touching the mark with my fingertips. I jumped. "She punched right through me. I could have..."

"It's alright know. River used one of the witches' flowers to help your healing. What Melantha did, your body couldn't heal fast enough so River helped you." I looked at him and then back to my stomach.

"How is everyone? Are they okay?"

"Everyone is fine," he took my hand into his. "I'm more worry about you."

"Victor, I..."

"I love you," he said placing a kiss on my hand. "Be my life mate. Stay with me forever."

"Victor," I didn't know what to say.

"Say 'always'," he smiled.

I looked away. "Always," I whispered. I hate him but I know I...

"What was that I didn't hear you," he leaned in with a frown.

"Like I would, fuck face" I yelled blushing.

I know I love him too.

"A lady shouldn't curse," he smiled from ear to ear. Pleasing his hand on my cheek he turned my head towards him. Slowly he placed a kiss on my lips as I welcomed it with open arms. Braking the kiss, "I'm going to have to punish you." Wrapping my arms around him I almost grinning as he got into the bed. "I'm going to finish what you stared the other day."

I leaned into his chest, rubbing my head under his chin. "You going to be gently," I asked almost teasing him.

"After you lift me hanging last time, no. What kind of punishment would that be," he whispered in my ear making my body shiver with excitement.

"How about for your life mates first time," I asked not feeling like myself.

He pulled away from me and study my face, "did you say, life mate and first time?"

I smiled, "I can't keep running anymore can I," I cupped his cheek. "I've been fighting these feelings and I've realized I don't want to run away from them no more. It's time that I to should have a happy ending."

He pulled me into a kiss as he wrapped his arms around me. "I'm sorry, I don't think I can be gentle," he whispered.

I almost laughed, "That's fine. I'll just have to punish you next," I said gently placing a kiss on his lips.
