Watching the waves hit the beach, I waited. After watching Dawn be dragged into the water I feared that maybe it was too late. Moving my head from left to right I didn't see anyone. I was completely alone. Was I doing something wrong? Dawn wasn't here and nether was that woman with the wings. Who was she anyway?

"You came," a voice said from behind. Quickly looking back I saw her. The woman with the wings.

"Where is Dawn?" I asked without thinking.

"That woman will wake and when she does he will come for her." She said.

"Who? Crevan?" She nodded her head. "Why?"

She took a few steps towards me, to the point she was only a few feet away. "Because she's family."

"What?"

"Dawn is Crevan daughter and he will take back what is his." What. That can't be. Our Father's name was Marcus not Crevan. And Crevan doesn't even sound like my father. "You are confused," it didn't sound like a question. Before I could say anything she spoke once more. "You have the same mother but different fathers. Craven is Dawns, yours is Marcus."

"How do you know all this?"

"Because Dawn told me so," she said in a calm, emotionless tone.

"She spoke to you? Why?" I was so confused.

"Because we are sisters." What? "And Marcus is our brother, your father."

"What are you talking about? That makes no sense."

She tilted her head back as if trying to think of a way to explain it. "Crevan is a vampire," she began, "He father me and my four other brothers and sisters. Our mother was human so like a coin we ether came out human or vampire. Only one of his children was vampire. Your father, my brother, Marcus. The rest was human. Born with powers our father drank us dry to absorb our gifts putting us in a vampire coma. Marcus believe we all died and was clouded with revenge and tried to kill Crevan but failed. Soon Crevan found your mother and fathered Dawn. To see Dawn live a health human life Marcus took the mother and child away. In ten years' time your mother and Marcus created you," she tilted her head side to side, "You may still not understand, correct"

"No! No one would understand any of this! But with all the shit that has been going on, I have to be open minded. So I think I understand little. So I'm part vampire? I'm I getting that right?" I lifted my hand to look at them.

"Yes, that's way you can come here. It also the reason why you can do the thing you can do. Which also means that Crevan will come for you too," she said.

Yea I knew that part. He let me enough messages to say that he was coming. But now that I'm with Dawn he'll soon find out that I'm here and get us both. I have to do something. A cold shiver ran up and down my body. The bastard thinks he can do this to us, just take us. 'Absorb' our powers an turn us into monsters.

Wait? I felt my entire body shut down. "He... he already got to Dawn."

Not realizing that I said it out loud the woman answered. "Yes he did." I looked her in the eyes as we stood there in silence. The only thing that filled my ears were the sound of the waves hitting the land.

Was this all my fault? If I told her not to go to school, would we have separated? Would this of happed if I tried hard for her to stay? I a tear stream down my cheek. What did my sister do? What did she do to deserve all this pain?

As if she read my mind. "What happened to your sister was not your fault. It was going to happen regardless if you separated or not." This stranger opened her arms to me and hugged me as her wings covered around us. "You're still a child and I know how children blame themselves for something they didn't do. So please don't cry. Your sister needs you to be strong." I slowly wrapped my arms around her. I couldn't remember the time I cried like this. This woman was warm and kind like a real angel.

"I hate vampires," I cried.

She leaned back, looked me in the eye. "There are good vampires out there," she smiled, "Like your sister will be," she said reminding me that Dawn was turning.

"And you?" I asked.

She looked away as if she was sad about something. "My brothers, my sister, and I must not wake. Edea you must promise me."

"But are you not good too?"

She shook her head no. "If we wake, we will be under the control of our father. We will be a danger to all."
