*Adam's POV*
One day; that was all it took. One day to make me fall for him...
I couldn't help but hold his hand when I was driving, even if it wasn't the safest thing to do. It was beginning to be a clear day and the sun was shining against the blue sky. It was chilly but not too bad; you probably just needed a light coat to keep warm.
A typical winter day in Arkansas. It was the last week of school until winter Christmas break. Every year my family and some of my cousins go on a camping trip. I think I know who I am going to ask to come with us this year.
As a stoplight came into view I looked over at Tommy; he had a smile on his face as he looked out the window. He looked so peaceful. Then he stated to make circles on my hand with his thumb. I love the feel of his skin against mine, it's so comforting. I looked back at the road for a second, seeing that there was no one in front of us, then back at him. I slowed down a bit (but not enough), trying to be more careful. He looked back at me.
"What?" he smiled.
"Nothing, just...I am honestly happy for once." I couldn't wait to tell him how I feel, but not yet. Just little steps at a time. We smiled at each other, and then Tommy looked at the road with fear.
"ADAM!" he yelled. I just got a glimpse of sun on metal then heard a crash as we both slammed forward...
