*Adam's POV*

Oh my God.

I leant against my wall and slid down to the floor in disbelief. Why did I just do that?

He just looked so surprised. I mean, I was surprised too. And we almost kissed before but we both knew it was coming.

I didn't want to kiss him like that (not yet at least). That was like a good-bye kiss when you're married. What I should've done was kissed him and showed him how much I love him. But, no, a surprise kiss on the cheek that probably scared him away.

I am so stupid! If I had another chance, I would take it.

*Tommy's POV*

You know what, fuck it. I love him, he loves me. I need that kiss.

I took a deep breath, gaining my confidence, and walked back into the room. Adam immediately stood from his place on the ground and walked up to me. His blue eyes were piercing through my skin. I swallowed hard again, not knowing what to do now.

"I uh..." I was searching for something to say, anything.

Then he stepped close, put one hand on my cheek, the other on my shoulder, and he leant in all in one quick, swift movement. His dry lips met my lip-glossed ones before my brain could register what was going on. I soon shut my eyes dreamily as the kiss went on. It was like having my first kiss over again. It was so sweet, so loving, so... fearful.

The world stopped and it was just me and him. I moved his hand off my shoulder and held it together with mine. He pulled away slowly, the touch of his lips burnt on my skin. His hand stayed on my cheek and he rubbed his thumb over it caringly. My eyelids stayed down, still dazed by the touch.

I could sense his smirk and opened my eyes, meeting with his. I grinned and I just realized how hard my heart was pumping. Blood was coursing through my veins, especially in my face where I knew there would be a scarlet mask. He wore the same as he pulled me into a tight hug. I nuzzled my face into his chest, my smiling growing. We stayed like that for a few peaceful minutes before I would have to leave.

"Tommy! It's time to leave, are you ready?" Leila called at the bottom of the staircase. I unwrapped my arms and he kissed the top of my head.

"See ya later," he laughed, saying it for the third time. "Stay out of trouble, okay?" He moved a piece of loose hair away from my eye and behind my ear.

"Okay," I smiled. I hugged him once more and left with Mrs. Lambert to go to school. What an amazing morning.

"Thanks again for dropping me off," I smiled and waved to Leila as she drove off the lot and I headed into the school. I got this weird feeling so I hurried in and to the auditorium.

I walked in and was greeted by Rose with a quick hug. "Where's Adam?" she asked.

I sighed. "We got in a crash after we left your house and he hit his head and got a pretty bad cut."

She gasped and held her hands up to her mouth in a worried manner. "He's okay but he hit his head again today and wasn't feeling too good."

I looked away from her, feeling a little but guilty again.

"How are you?" she asked me with a tilt of her head which made her hair fall over her eye.

"I'm fine, I guess." I looked down. She held me by my shoulders and I looked back at her.

"It wasn't your fault, Tommy. Even if it seems like it is, it's not. I am sure of it." She smiled and hugged me for longer this time. I weakly nodded and she walked with me to the stage.
