*Sarabi's POV*

A month later...

Mufasa and I took a morning walk around the Pride Lands. Mufasa brought up a story when we were cubs and how we met at the Elephant Grave Yard.

"That same exact day my mother punished me. She was very furious! Sarafina didn't get in any trouble. I explain to her mother that it was my whole idea." I chuckled, "My pride called me the trouble maker."

Mufasa laughed.

"Out of my siblings, Taka was known as the trouble maker. Athena was the follower. She would try to copy whatever me and Taka do. I was the leader teaching them the positives." Mufasa said.

I smirked. "You weren't always the positive leader, Mufasa."

"Huh?"

"Remember the day you invite me to the river and we almost got ate by giant crocodiles? If it wasn't for your mother, we could have died that day."

Mufasa looked down smiling a bit. "Oh, right!"

I bump my furry side against his and laughed.

"My mother was brave but not like my father. My father would get in all types of danger, Sarabi. He wouldn't care what!"

"Well, it is the King's job Mufasa. They risk their life to protect their family and pride."

Mufasa stop walking. He met his ruby color eyes with my orange ones. "I would risk my life for my family, pride, and most importantly you Sarabi. If someone ever touch or hurt you, best believe I'll be there faster than a hurry!"

I blush, "Oh, Muffy!"

I kiss his furry cheek. We continue our walk down a narrow path.

"Mufasa, Sarabi!!" A voice call.

I squint my eyes looking straight ahead. Mufasa twitch his ears.

"Do you hear that?" He ask.

I nod, "Yeah, it sounds like..."

"It's me, Sarafina!"

My eyes widen. I sprint forward leaving Mufasa behind. "SAFFY!"

When I reach Sarafina, we both hug tightly. She head bud me with tears streaming down her light furry cheeks.

"Oh Sarabi, I missed you!" She said.

I start crying too but with happiness. "Me too! What are you doing here in the Pride Lands?"

"I've come to visit. I haven't seen you since your wedding."

Sarafina continues to talk on and on. I look over seeing a tall, muscular male lion with a tan mane standing quietly behind her. He's very handsome indeed!

"Excuse me, Sarafina. Sorry to interrupt but who is this guy standing behind you?"

Sarafina chuckled. "Oh my gosh, it's been that long?"

The male walks up. He's standing close next to Sarafina's right side.

"You don't remember me Sarabi?" He asks.

I stare in his eyes then it hit me. I jump with a big smile.

"Makaio?!"

He nods.

I circle him around. "Wow, you look so different! It must be the mane."

Makaio laughed. Sarafina snuggles her face in his mane.

I gasp. "No, it can't be true."

Sarafina nods, Makaio smiles.

"Your mates?!"

"Yes!"

I hug them both. "Congrats you two!"

"Sarafina didn't want a big whole wedding. So our ceremony was private. No one knew, not even her parents." Makaio explained.

"But I told my parents eventually. Especially, when I found out that I am pregnant!" Said Sarafina.

My mouth dropped. My best friend is pregnant?! I cry again this time with joy.

"Oh what a blessing!"

I hug Sarafina for the third time. "What are you both hoping to have?"

"Makaio wants a girl. For me it doesn't matter."

Makaio nuzzle Sarafina. "Honey, do you want to tell Sarabi what we've discussed?"

Sarafina nodded. "Oh yea, thanks for the reminder Makaio! Sarabi, we would like you to be our baby or babies god mother!"

I smile sitting down. "Of course! Thanks guys, such amazing news this morning!"

"Where's your husband, Sarabi? It'll be nice to meet him." Makaio grinned.

"Right here." Answered a deeper voice.

Mufasa walked up from behind. He sat down next to me close. I nuzzle him purring.

Makaio scan Mufasa with his eyes from top to bottom. He gave Sarafina a look. She hit Makaio with her tail on his side then quickly gave me and Mufasa a smile.

"Nice to see you, Mufasa. I'm sorry about your mother! I give out my condolences."

Mufasa nod smiling. "Thank you, Sarafina. Nice to see you too!"

He look over at Makaio. Mufasa didn't like the stank faces Makaio gave him.

I whisper, "Be nice."

Mufasa cleared his throat. "So, is this your mate?"

Sarafina nod then she looked at Makaio. "Yes. Honey aren't you going to introduce yourself to the future King?"

Makaio roll his eyes. "My name is Makaio."

"Makaio and I are expecting. Sarabi is the god mother!"

Mufasa smiled. "Congrats! Your both welcome to visit here whenever. I'm sure one day when Sarabi and I have our own cub, it can grow up with yours."

Sarafina nod.

Makaio turned around walking away. "Come on Sarafina, it's time to go back home. We don't want your ankles to swell again!"

"But I want to see my other friends! Well, if it's okay with the future King and Queen here."

I nod smiling. "Of course! Come on we'll lead the way."

Makaio sighed. Sarafina happily joined my side. Mufasa led us all to Pride Rock.
