*Sarafina's POV*

"Nala, stop moving dear."

"I'm sorry mommy, but it tickles!"

Nala continues to giggle and move while I lick her belly clean. She had just got done eating lunch. Sarabi's Pride offer to share it with us.

"I wonder where is my son. He missed lunch!" Said Sarabi, who's laying down on a high rock.

"Probably still with your husband."

"Hey Nala!"

Nala roll over and smile, "Hi Simba!"

Simba skipped forward. "Come on. I just heard about this great place."

Nala clenched her teeth, "Simba! I'm kind of in the middle of a bath."

Sarabi smirks at Simba. "And it's time for yours."

Simba tries to escape. Sarabi bends down and grabs him. She proceeds to give the struggling prince a bath.

"Mom! ...Mom. You're messing up my mane." Simba whines. "Okay, okay, I'm clean. Can we go now?"

"So where are we going? It better not be anyplace dumb." Said Nala.

I chuckle.

"No. It's really cool." Simba smiles.

"So where is this really cool place?" Sarabi asks.

"Oh. Uh... around the water hole."

"The water hole? What's so great about the water hole?" Nala frowns.

Simba whispers. "I'll show you when we get there."

"Oh. Uh... Mommy, can I go with Simba?"

I look at Sarabi. "Hmm... What do you think, Sarabi?"

Sarabi looks up and think. "Well..."

Simba and Nala both made large adorable eyes. "Pleeeease?"

"It's all right with me."

The two cubs jump around over joyed.

"As long as you take Zazu with you." Sarabi added.

"Aw, not Zazu!" Simba groaned.

"I heard everything from above, my queen. I will watch over the Cubs and bring them back home safely!" Said Zazu.

Sarabi and I both nod our heads. We trust Zazu with the Cubs under his watchful eyes.

I laugh. "Remember how we use to be when we were Cubs Sarabi?"

"Oh yeah, when our parents wouldn't allow us to go to certain places? Good times." Sarabi laughed.

I lay my head down over my front two paws drifting slow into a quiet peaceful nap. Nala should be back soon.

"Mommy?" A voice call.

I open my eyes. How long have I been sleeping and where's Sarabi? Nala stands in front of me with her ears hung low.

"It's dark, how come your back late?" I ask.

"Your daughter was caught with my son at the elephant grave yard. If I hadn't come in time, the hyenas could have killed them both." Said a angry Mufasa.

I gasp and hug Nala tightly. "Oh my gosh! Thank you, Mufasa for rescuing her."

"No problem. Simba's punishment starts tonight. Nala can no longer visit until he's out the den."

"Okay. Nala also will receive punishment."

I look down at Nala frowning. Mufasa walks away after saying good night with Simba behind him. I got up and lead the way home. Nala slowly follows.

"I am very disappointed in you young lady." I say.

"B-But!"

"No butts. We'll discuss everything what happened when we get home."

Nala sighs. "Okay."

I can't believe Nala would get into danger like that. If it wasn't for Mufasa I don't know how I'd react. I already lost Makaio. I can't lose our daughter too. Nala is the only close memory I have of him. I close my eyes with a sigh continuing to walk through the tall green grass home.
