The Lion King: Past Events

War Started

*Amina's POV*

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Remember, Amina is Ahadi's mother (in my theory/ book). Haven't done her POV in a while 😊. She's now very old!

I watch my daughter in law pace back in forth inside the cave.

"Uru, relax. Ahadi will return!" I say, calmly.

"It doesn't take this long, Amina." She replied. "What if something bad happen to him?"

"Zuzu, tell the lion guards that I said to keep an good eye out around the lands in case Makana comes back." I hear Ahadi speak from outside.

I turn my head to the cave's entrance/exit. Ahadi walks in. Uru race up and head bud him. I watch with a smile as he nuzzle her cheek. Uru took a step back and notice Ahadi has bite and scratch marks over his light golden fur. His muzzle is covered in red blood.

I walk up to scan my son. Uru step kindly aside.

"Son, what has happened to you?" I ask.

Ahadi nuzzled me. "Mother, I'm fine." He said.

"It doesn't look like it." Said Uru, lifting a brow.

"I was attacked by both Makana and her mate." Ahadi answered while laying down. He start to lick his small injuries clean.

"Oh Lordy!" I gasp.

Uru laid close beside Ahadi. "Well, are they now gone?"

"I killed her mate. Makana? I don't know where her and her three children had gone. I sent Zuzu to go tell the lion guards what happen and be on the look out in case Makana returns." Ahadi replied.

I sat down shaking my head. "Oh Ahadi, you shouldn't have killed her mate."

"And why not?" Uru quickly asked with a frown, before Ahadi could even answer.

"Because darling, this may start a war."

"A war?!" Said A shocked voice.

Mufasa walks in the cave with his sister Athena following behind.

"What war?" Athena ask, looking very confused.

I smile at them. "Nothing, my loves. How did you guys day go?"

Mufasa smiled. "Great!"

Athena chose a spot next to me and sat down. "It was okay I guess."

Uru look concerned. "How come sweetie?"

"The hunting party got mad at me because I mess up one little thing."

Ahadi got up and nuzzled his daughter. "It's alright, Athena. There's always tomorrow!"

Athena made a small smile. "Your right, father. We brought home Antelope. It's outside if you guys want to eat dinner now!"

Uru got up and walk over to the cave's exit. "Come on everyone. Mufasa, bring back a piece of meat for your grandmother!"

I smile at Uru. "Thank you, darling."

I watch the four of them leave out.

*Jengo's POV*

Sky Leaf Pride...

For dinner tonight the pride ate wilder beast. Afterwards, it was time for bed. Well not for me. It's time to patrol my kingdom, making sure that nothing dangerous is lurking around my pride. I'm starting to get the hang of being King now. My days have gotten busier each day. I barely spend any time with my mother or friends anymore. I'm always gone on important errands.

I sniff every part of the grass and spray my scent on near by trees. Every thing seems to be clear. I follow a short cut back home.

SNAP! RUSTLE, RUSTLE!!

I pause in my steps. My ears twitch.

"Who's there?" I growl, crouching a bit low.

Something chuckle behind me. I turn around and see that it was just Scar.

"Relax, big cousin. It's just me!" He chuckled.

My body un-tense. I roll my eyes releasing a breath and smiled. "Oh, hey Scar. I thought you were in den with the others?"

"I was but then left."

"What for?"

"Uh, no reason. Just met up with some friends."

My smile grew wider. "You made friends?!"

Scar lift a brow. "Hey, hey, what does that suppose to mean?"

"Nothing. I'm just surprised you made friends in the pride. You seemed so lonely when you first came here. So, who are they?"

"Uh, they're not from here."

I cock my head to the side. "Oh."

Awkward silence fell. I clear my throat turning around and led the way home.

"Come on, it's getting chilly out." I said.

Scar nod and followed behind. Hmm, I wonder who's his friends.

Morning...

Morning arrived, I woke up with a loud yawn. Everyone in the pride woke up with yawns and stretches. I look to my right noticing Scar isn't present. Where has he gone to?

I got up and went to go investigate. I sniff out Scar's scent and follow it to the river. There I finally found him talking to three hyenas.

HYENAS?!
