Revenge/The Big Day

*Taka's POV*

I've been wondering around the plains all afternoon. I have no other place to go. My own cousin kick me out of his pride. Crazy? I know. Who needs him anyway? He's not a great King if you ask me!

"Scar!" A voice called.

I stop walking and look over my shoulder. It's Shenzi, Banza and Ed running up.

"I thought you three went home?" I ask.

Shenzi shook her head. "Nope! We followed you."

"Why?"

"Because Scar you're our friend, duh?" Banza chuckled.

Ed chuckled too.

I sat down and smiled. "Aw, thanks guys!"

"We heard everything the King said." Said Shenzi, who also sat down.

Banza frowned. "I don't like him much!"

Ed growled.

I stare down at my paws. "I need to figure out where I'll live next. I have no other place to go."

"Silly, go back to the Pride Lands!" Banza suggested.

Shenzi smack Banza with her paw. "Idiot, why would he return home? Don't you remember the reason why he left??"

Ed nodded.

Banza rub his right cheek where Shenzi had smacked him. "Ouch! Sorry, I forgot."

"I would ask you guys if I can stay with you, but your clan probably don't want a lion around." I said.

"Yeah, that's not a good idea. My mother would flip! She's already mad at your dad." Said Banza.

I lift a brow. "My father?"

Ed nodded.

Shenzi look down sadly. "He killed our dad..."

I gasp.

Banza and Ed flatten their ears. A tear escape from Shenzi's eye. Why did my father kill their father?

"What happen?" I ask.

Shenzi sniffed. "We were hunting in you guys land. Our clan is starving. We have no food or water. Pups and elderys have already died. We killed a bufflao. A lioness snitch on us and told your dad I guess. So your dad came and tried to attack our mom. But our dad jump in front of her and fought him."

"I'm sure you know what happens next." Banza added.

I nod.

"If mom and dad listened to us, maybe dad wouldn't be dead. We tried telling them to not hunt in the Pride Lands territory. They refused, so they got what cost them." Said Shenzi.

Banza snarl and pin Shenzi down. "How dare you blame this on our parents Shenzi! They did right which was trying to save the clan. Too many of us are gone because of starvation."

Shenzi push Banza off her. "Get off me! I'm your future leader. I can report this to mom."

"Future leader?" I ask confused.

Ed nodded.

"My mom is the clan's matriarch. I'm the only female born out of my brothers. So that makes me the future leader. In hyena world, females rule." Shenzi explained, while standing up on her paws.

I nod understanding. Wow, I never knew female hyenas lead the clan. Very different from us lions!

"I won't let my mom attack your dad's pride." Said Shenzi, placing her paw on top of my larger one.

I smile.

Banza got up walking off. "I can't sit here and watch this."

Shenzi rolled her eyes.

"Come on Ed!"

Ed follow behind his brother. Shenzi and I are the only ones left.

"Please ignore Banza." She said.

I nod. "Its okay, he has every right to be angry."

"Like I said, I won't let my mom attack your dad's pride. Your my friend Scar. My parents shouldn't have hunted in your dad's kingdom In the first place. Our clan has been banned from there for years."

"I know, my dad told me. So how will you stop your mom?"

Shenzi shrug. "I don't know. I'll come up with something and let you know."

I rub foreheads with her. "Thank you, my friend."

"No problem. You've helped me and my brothers with gathering food. Now its my turn to give back."

I smile. She smiled as well then turn around heading her way home. At least I know I can trust Shenzi.

I look up at the sun. Soon it's going to set. I need to find a place to rest for the night. I began my walk down a narrow path. My life as a lonesome rouge starts now.

*Mufasa's POV*

Author's Note: I'm speeding up the time a bit. I realize that I had the characters as teens for a while now xD.

Years later...

Today is the day me and Sarabi get married. My parents are still the current rulers of Pride Rock just older. My sister Athena went to go meet up and bring Sarabi, while I'm in the cave talking with father.

"Today is the big day. Are you excited, son?" My father asked smiling.

I nod. "Yes."

My mother walks inside the cave. Tears stream down both sides of her furry cheeks. I got very concerned.

"Mother are you alright?" I ask.

She nod with a smile. "Yes, it's just that my Muffy is all grown up now. Your not my baby anymore!"

I feel the tears start to fill up my ruby eyes. I step up and hug her. "Oh, mother!"

Mother purred and lick my nose. Father stood in the background chuckling. The sound of walking feet and a shaky rattle enter the cave. I step away from mother and saw that its Rafiki.

"Good morning, my King, Queen, and Prince!" Rafiki greeted.

Mother, father, and I nod our heads.

"Where's your fiancé, Mufasa?"

I shrug. "I don't know. Athena suppose to be back with her by now."

"I'm here!" Said a soft voice.

Athena rushed in. "Sorry, Sarabi was still getting ready when I had reached her pride. She's now here with her parents and Sarafina!"

Mother nod. "Excellent. Shall we start?"

Rafiki smiled. "Yes, your highness."

"Are the animals here?" Asked father.

Athena nod. "Yes, father. They're all standing patiently in front of Pride Rock."

"Let's get this wedding started!" I smiled, excited.

Rafiki was the first to exit out the cave. Then mother and father followed side by side. I walked in front of Athena which made her the last to leave out the cave.

I can't believe I'm about to marry the gorgeous lioness of my dreams.
