Taka's Missing

*Sarabi's POV*

Next Day...

Late morning, me and Sarafina decide to go in the Pride Lands and visit the royal siblings. We been met the King and Queen. When we were Cubs, Queen Uru found us playing at the water hole. She notice how much her children loved us. She told King Ahadi about us and he start asking me and Sarafina random questions. Like where are we from? How do we know each other?

King Ahadi surprisingly told us we can visit the Pride Lands whenever we want. I guess because we're from the Shimmer Pride. The Shimmer Pride leaders are good lions to King Ahadi and Queen Uru.

I follow Sarafina climbing up Pride Rock.

"Mufasa, Taka, Athena!" I called, standing in front of the cave.

Athena walked out.

"Hey, Athena!" Smiled Sarafina.

"Oh, hey girls!"

"Where are your brothers?" I ask.

Athena looked down. "Mufasa is inside the cave with Rafiki the baboon. He's fixing his injured right paw. Taka otherwise is out some where. He never returned home last night..."

Sarafina gasp. "Oh my!"

I start walking halfway into the cave. "Can I please see him?"

"Let me go check!" Said Athena.

Athena went back inside the cave. A minute or so she came back out nodding. I ran inside. Sarafina stayed outside the cave with Athena learning about what happen with Taka.

"Ouch!" Mufasa yelled.

"Sorry, Prince Mufasa." Said Rafiki.

I walk towards the far back of the cave and saw Rafiki wrapping Mufasa's injured paw with a large green leaf. The leaf contains a special medicine that will help heal his injury fast.

Rafiki nod. "Finished!"

"Thank you." Mufasa half smiled.

Rafiki grab his stick and walk pass me heading out the cave. Mufasa didn't see me.

"Hey there, Muffy." I spoke.

He look up with surprise. "Sarabi? How long have you been standing there??"

"Not long."

I lay down beside him. Mufasa tried hiding his wrap up paw but failed. I already seen it anyway.

"What happen to your paw?" I ask curiously.

Mufasa turned his head away. "Taka bit me..."

"Why?"

"He's upset that I was chosen future King."

I shook my head. "Let me guess, you two fought?"

Mufasa nodded not saying a word. I let out a sigh.

"You guys are brothers. Fighting over a crown is just awful. Taka should be proud and supporting you." I said.

"Right! I just don't get why he's so serious and angry about it, Sarabi. What did I do to ever upset Taka like that? Then he mention that mother and father don't show him care. That's so not true!" Mufasa said.

"Maybe Taka needs some time alone. Where is he by the way?"

Mufasa turn his head back facing me. He shrug his shoulders, "No one knows. Last time me, mother, and father had saw him was last night in the grasslands. After father hit him on the eye, Taka ran away. He never back came home..."
