NO ONE'S POV

As each month pass, Nuka grows from a small helpless newborn to an older playful cub. He's already learning the important lessons from his father Scar on how to become a perfect King. But for some strange reason, Nuka does not get it and fail the assignments given to him.

His mother Zira worries. She hope the cub will change and become more serious when he's an adult. If not, Scar will be furious and want another heir. The pride watch Nuka carefully. They watch the way he move and talks. Sarafina is very sure that Nuka won't become a great King and darkness will take over him like his parents. Sarabi deep down doesn't want to admit that her friend is right.

Nala, Sarafina's daughter is starting to grow beautiful than ever. She's now a teenager learning how hunt so she can be a part of the hunting party. Sarabi notices that Malka, one of Simba's child hood friends is getting pretty attach to Nala lately.

Every morning he brings her flowers or compliment her beauty. Tama, another childhood friend gets jealous. Nala and Simba were originally chosen to be lovers. Sadly since Simba is dead, it doesn't matter now who Nala chooses. Sarafina just wants her daughter to have a good future.

Athena's cubs are Nuka's same exact age, also being his cousins. Athena doesn't really trust Nuka playing with her Cubs unless she's there to watch. He is her crazy brother's son after all.

The pride lionesses were all napping and sun bathing behind Pride Rock. Nuka had just got done with his King lessons and ram behind Pride Rock to see if his cousins want to play.

"Rilan, Kimbella!" He called out.

Raaawr!!!

Nuka move his ears back and forth. "Huh?"

"Got ya!" Kimbella giggles, while pinning Nuka roughly on the ground.

"Hey, no fair. I wasn't even ready!" Nuka laughs, falling on his side.

"In coming!!!" A voice yell.

It was Kimbella's brother Rilan. He came running forward and tackle the two cubs. The three of them roll a few times then land on their backs with loud laughter.

"Rilan, let's fight!" Said Nuka, getting up with a playful growl.

Rilan growls back grinning. "Let's go, I've been practicing!"

The two began to wrestle one another. Kimbella sat on the sidelines watching.

She shook her head and roll her eyes, "Boys..."

"Kimbella?" A female voice call.

It was Nala. She came forward raising a brow.

Kimbella smiles, "Oh, hi Nala! Is my mommy back home yet from her hunt?"

"Yes. She sent me to get you and your brother. Lunch is ready!"

"Lunch?!" Rilan says, while pinning Nuka down.

Nala nods, "Yeah. You better hurry before the hyenas decide to take it from us. You know how that goes!"

"Sorry Nuka, we'll be back later!" Said Kimbella.

The two cubs run pass Nala. Nuka is left alone. Nala started walking away but then stop. She look over her shoulder.

"Aren't you coming to eat little one?" She asks him.

Nuka look down shyly at his paws. "Oh, I didn't know it was for me too."

"I don't want your parents yelling at me, my mother, and Sarabi for not sharing our food with you. So come along!"

"Thanks Nala!"

Nuka smiled leaping beside Nala's side as they walk up Pride Rock. One thing Nala like about Nuka, he was respectful to creatures unlike his parents. She smiled at the cub.
