Kendall's POV

I climbed on top of Kendall, shaking him gently. He woke up and looked up at me. "Hi Kendall." He chuckled, rubbing his eyes.

"Hello Jayden." His deep voice was raspy. I smiled, laying on his chest. "Sleep good?"

"I actually slept better than I normally do." I looked up at him.

"That's good. Let's go get something to eat." I giggled. "What?"

"It's one in the morning." He checked his phone.

"Well let's go to Waffle House." His bright blue eyes looked away from his phone. I nodded and got up. He got up putting on his shoes. I tapped on his shoulder. "Yeah?" He looked at me. I kissed his cheek and got up. He stood up, stepping towards me. I took a step back. He kept stepping closer until he had me cornered. "Come here." He pulled me close, pecking my neck.

"Kendall don't." I warned him. He started sucking softly and lightly nipped at the skin. My arms snaked around his neck, my fingers tangling in his hair. He ran his tongue over the bruise and softly blew on it. A soft moan slipped past my lips. He chuckled in my ear, his arm snaking around my waist. "Great now I have a hickey to cover." I rolled my eyes, pushing him off me.

"Sorry love. I got carried away." He scratched the back of his neck. I slipped on my Adidas jacket and sneakers. I zipped the jacket, covering the hickey with the collar. He grabbed my hand, leading me out of the room. We walked downstairs quietly, careful not to wake my parents or sister. We reached the bottom and tiptoed to the door.

"Mom and dad aren't going to be ecstatic about you sneaking out." I looked at Jaylen on the couch.

"Then don't tell them metal mouth. Besides, we're going to Waffle House. Seriously though, keep your mouth shut." She nodded.

"Bring me some." I nodded. "Here." She tossed me my keys. I followed Kendall out and we ran to my motorcycle. I pushed it until we were out of earshot. Kendall started it up, getting on. I climbed on behind him and he sped off. I held onto him tightly. We got to Waffle House and went inside. We sat down and a waiter walked over.

"What can I get you?" He winked at me.

I took off my jacket, revealing the bruise on my neck. "I want blueberry waffles and orange juice." He nodded writing my order down.

"Same for me." The guy nodded, walking away. "Why'd you take that off?" Kendall looked at me.

"So he can see my hickey. He winked at me." I pulled my phone from my pocket. I opened snapchat, looking at a video my aunt sent me. I took a picture of Kendall looking at his phone.

'late night waffle dates.'

I sent it to her, putting my phone back in my pocket. "What are you doing later tonight?" I looked at Kendall.

"I don't know. Probably work on a few college applications." He nodded.

"Well how would you feel about going on a date with me?" He bit his lip. I nodded, smiling. "Bring a swimsuit." I looked at him confusedly.

"Okay?" It came out as a question. The waiter came back with our food and slid a folded napkin toward me. I opened it, revealing his phone number. Sighing, I pulled a lighter from my jacket pocket.

"What are you doing?" I looked at Kendall. I winked, smirking. I went outside. I stood over a puddle by the window. I lit the napkin and watched it quickly burn before dropping it in the puddle, extinguishing the fire. I went back inside and sat down. Kendall shook his head, eating his waffles. "You have anger issues."

"I know." I ate my waffles. We talked for a bit after we ate and got up. I pulled my wallet from my pocket and Kendall took it. "Half."

"No." I rolled my eyes. He paid the check and we walked out. "Should we go back or no?"

"They sleep late. We can stay out for a bit." He nodded. We got on the motorcycle and left.

He came up to a vacant, run down part of town. We got off the motorcycle and walked across the parking lot. I climbed the fence, jumping on the roof. Kendall followed me. We laid down, looking into the darkness. "It's so peaceful." I laid my head on his chest.

"Yeah. I love it." He wrapped his arms around me. "I love you too." I smiled.

"You say that an awful lot. You're supposed to be proving it to me." I smiled up at him.

"I am proving it." He whined.

"By kissing me all the time and giving me a hickey?" I smirked.

"Since you're still not believing me, I have double my romance factor huh?" He chuckled. I rolled on top of him. "That's new." I smiled, giggling softly. His hands rested on my hips.

"How do you plan on proving that you love me?"

"I don't have to do anything." He looked past me. "Time will reveal everything." He averted his attention to me and smiled. "Until then, I'll just be glad you're mine." He pecked my lips. I kissed him. He kissed back, his thumbs brushing against my hipbone. I pulled away and he smiled.

After laying there for a while and watching the sunrise, we jumped back off the building and went to the motorcycle. We got back on and drove home. We got closer to my house and got off, pushing it the rest of the way. I opened the door, peeking in before fully pushing it open. Kendall followed me inside.

Kendall's POV

She led me upstairs. "You can go back to my room. I'll be in there in a minute." She whispered. I nodded, walking into her room. I laid on the bed and pulled my phone out.

'Kyle: What's up?'

I replied to him and shoved my phone in my pocket. Jayden came back in and laid on my chest, falling asleep immediately. "Sweet dreams beautiful. I love you."
