Jaylen's POV
I went back into Jayden's room with a bag of clothes for Kendall and some food. "Hey." He looked at me. The doctors were checking the machines and making sure she was okay. I gave him the bag and smiled.
"Your mom wanted me to bring you these." He nodded and walked in the bathroom. I started eating and the doctors walked out. He came back. "Hungry?" He nodded and I shared my food with him. "You know my dad found Jacob's dad and almost got arrested?" I smiled.
"What'd he do?" He chuckled.
"He just beat him up a little." I gave him the rest of my drink. "How long do you think it'll be before she wakes up?" I looked at my lap.
"I don't know." I bit my lip, laying on his shoulder. "She'll be okay though."
I woke up on my dad's chest. Kendall was standing beside Jayden's bed. She still hadn't waken up and her arms were covered in scars. Her heart monitor beeped at a steady rate but was slowing down. I clung to my father in fear. The beeping alternated before flatlining.
I woke up sweaty and crying. Kendall looked at me and I stared at my sister. "What's wrong?"
"Nightmare." I took a few deep breaths and got up. I walked in the bathroom. I splashed a little water on my face and looked in the mirror. Water dripped off my face and hair. I dried my face and fixed my beanie. I walked back out and my parents and girlfriend looked at me. I felt nauseous and ran back in the bathroom, vomiting. Someone held my hair back. I stopped and looked up at my girlfriend.
"It's okay babe." She grabbed a paper towel and wiped the vomit of the end of my hair. I shook my head and leaned over the toilet again, throwing up. She rubbed my back. I stopped and got up. She flushed the contents of my stomach down the toilet and I rinsed out my mouth.
"Thanks babygirl." She smiled. "Do you-"
"In my bag. I always keep that stuff with me." She giggled. I wrapped an arm around her waist, walking out with her. She gave me breath spray and a piece of gum.
"Are you okay?" I looked at Kendall and nodded. I pulled Kennedy closer to me
"Are you sure?" I looked at my mom.
"Yeah but I'm just going to go home." She nodded and I walked out. "And yes I had to leave."
"Why?"
"I don't know. I couldn't the sight of her not being with me.
