Jayden's POV
I woke up and wiggled out of Kendall's grasp. I walked to Dakota's room and she looked up at me. "Good morning babygirl."
"Good morning." I checked on the twins and Aiden woke up. I picked him up and he looked around.
"Are you hungry Kota?" I looked at her. She nodded, getting up. We walked in the kitchen and I sat Aiden in his high chair. Dakota grabbed the ingredients for bacon, pancakes, and fruit.
Kendall came downstairs. "Good morning baby girl." He pecked my lips. "You didn't wake me up. I would've helped you." He hugged me from behind.
"You were up late with Aiden so I was cooking you breakfast." I smiled, finishing the food. Aiden and Adrienne beat against the little table on their high chairs. "But as usual, the little monsters are hungry." I turned everything off and grabbed the baby food.
"Hey what are you doing here?" I looked at my sister and her wife.
"Kendall called me."
"When? He's been asleep all day." I looked at my husband, who was asleep with the kids. Dakota was sleeping on his chest and the twins were sleeping in the play pen.
"Last night." They came in and I closed the door. "He said he wanted us to watch the kids. I don't know why so don't ask."
"Babe?" I woke Kendall. He looked at Jaylen and back at me.
"I can't tell you right now." He looked at Dakota. "Are you sure you guys can handle four kids?"
"Dakota can help us." Kennedy smiled. Aiden woke up and I picked him up. I grabbed a bottle filled with chilled water and gave it to him.
"Are they teething?" Jaylen took him from me.
"Yeah. Their top two are coming in." Aiden fell back asleep in her arms. I took the bottle and she put his pacifier in his mouth. "Three, two, one." Adrienne squirmed around on the blankets. I picked her up. "She's the hard one. She doesn't use the bottle like Aiden so one of us has to manually massage her gums."
"Have you tried teething rings?"
"She busted it."
"Do what you did with Kota?"
"She's five months. I can't give her ice." I looked at my youngest daughter. I tickled her and she laughed.
"Babe?" I turned and looked at Kendall, smiling. "Let's take a walk."
"Okay." I grabbed his hand and we went outside.
"I never once thought I'd have the career I wanted." I smiled.
"I never thought I'd marry the woman of my dreams." He looked down at me.
"Whose also your best friend." I smiled. He chuckled. "Best decisions I ever made."
"Which ones?"
"Choosing you to be my best friend, dating you, saying yes," I stopped. "And saying I do." He smiled. "I love you Kendall."
"I love you too Jayden." He hugged me, tightly. "Thank you for giving me the chance."
"You always had a chance. You just took your time to take it." I smiled. He kissed my cheek. His phone buzzed in his pocket.
"Hello? What? Okay we're coming." He looked at me. "We need to get back."
"What's wrong?"
"Adrienne's sick." My eyes widened. We ran back home. I ran inside and heard crying. Aiden was in the playpen chewing on his fingers. Dakota was in my room asleep. I ran to the bathroom to see Jaylen and Kennedy cleaning up Adrienne and Jaylen.
"What did you do when she busted the teething ring?" Kennedy looked at me.
"Threw it away and made sure she didn't swallow the liquid inside." I picked up my crying child. "What happened?"
"She threw up all over me three times." I looked at Adrienne. She looked up at me, chewing on her fingers.
"Did you use the numbing gel in her bag?" Jaylen nodded. "She doesn't like it. I tried it once and she threw up on Kendall." I kissed her cheek. "None of my kids like it. It irritated Dakota's stomach, Aiden cries when he feels his mouth numb up, and Adrienne hates the taste and feel of it in her mouth."
"Well in their defense, we didn't like it either." Jay finished cleaning her shirt.
"I have extra shirts bub." I grabbed her hand.
"I do too but Kennedy and I are going to bed and I sleep in a bra and shorts." I rolled my eyes giggling. "But since I hate the stench of baby vomit, I'll take one of those shirts." We walked to my room. Dakota was watching a movie and playing a game on my phone.
"Hey beautiful. Did you have a good nap?"
"Yes." She smiled. I gave Jaylen a shirt.
"It was yours anyway. I liked the scent so I took it when I was pregnant with the twins." I smiled. She rolled her eyes, pulling the shirt on.
"And that scent you love, it's the same as Kendall's cologne. I wear it on occasion."
I was laying in Kendall's lap on snapchat when I felt tiny feet on my face. Kendall chuckled and I closed my eye before whichever baby it was, stepped on my eye. I heard Aiden's laughter as he jumped on my face. I turned my head and kissed my son's feet. I took him and he smiled at me, kicking his feet. "So you're the one that constantly kicked me." I gave him a little kiss and he laughed.
He grabbed my glasses, pulling them off and putting the handle in his mouth. "No no." Kendall took them. I sat up and he laid on my chest, chewing on the edge of my shirt. "Hey there cutie." He picked up Adrienne. She reached for his face. He kissed her hand and grabbed her arm.
"Babe?" He looked at me. "Can I have my glasses?" He gave them back and I put them on, getting up. Aiden hiccuped and gurgled, drooling on my chest. I walked in the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water. "Here you go." I gave him the water and he looked up at me with his blue-green eyes.
"Babe where is their bag?" I looked at Kendall.
"Why?"
"So I can give Adrienne a bath. She still smells like old milk." He looked at her.
"The soap is in the bathroom." He nodded and took her to the bathroom.
"Please go to sleep princess." I looked down at Adrienne. She looked up at me, crying.
"She still won't sleep?" I shook my head looking up at Kendall. "Come here princess." He picked her up and went upstairs.
"I go upstairs for five minutes and you're asleep already?" I looked at Kendall.
"You didn't stay up until," I checked my phone. "2:30 in the morning to take care of her."
"I'm sorry babygirl. Let's get you to bed." I reached up for him and he picked me up. He walked in the bedroom, laying me on the bed. "Sweet dreams love."
"Goodnight." I smiled, falling asleep.
