Kyle's POV
I woke up and looked around. What was I doing at the hospital? "Mom?" She looked up.
"Kyle?" She smiled. "Where are you?"
"The hospital." I looked at her confusedly.
"Do you remember anything from last night?"
"I remember passing out, coming home, falling down the stairs, and Jayden talking to me." I shrugged.
"You got your memory back." I stared at her. "You had amnesia." I nodded slowly.
"When can I leave?" She shrugged. The door opened. My brother and his girlfriend walked in. "Who are you?" Kendall turned to walk out but Jayden stopped him. "Sorry." He looked at me.
"What?"
"I said I'm sorry. For trying to kiss Jayden."
"You remember that?" I nodded. "Your memory is back?" I nodded.
"Give me my money back." He smirked, reaching in his pocket. He gave me the money and wrapped an arm around Jayden. "Thank you Jayden."
"I didn't do anything?"
"Well obviously you did because I'm not dead." I chuckled and groaned. My mom laid a hand on my shoulder. "Fine. I'm fine." I smiled at her. A nurse came in and started writing things. She smiled at me and I winked.
"Injured and still flirting. How are you feeling?"
"My head hurts and I'm hot."
"That you are." She smiled, checking the machines. "Everything seems to be fine now and I will be back with some painkillers."
"Thank you." She nodded and I smiled. I looked at my brother and Jayden who were sneaking kisses. My mom smirked at me. "What?"
"Definitely flirting with that nurse."
"Of course." I smirked.
"We're going to go get something to eat. Do you want anything?" I shook my head, wincing. "We'll be back."
"Okay." They walked out and the nurse came back. "Thank you." She gave me water and two pills.
"No problem." I took the medicine.
"So what's your name?"
"Marisol."
"And how old are you?"
"Eighteen."
"A little young to be a nurse, isn't it?" She nodded.
"I'm a student. I do hands-on work here for experience and I work the front desk on weekends for pay."
"A working girl. Cute." I smiled. She blushed lightly. "When I get better, would you like to go out with me?"
"Obviously."
Jaylen's POV
I went to Kennedy's house and knocked. The door opened and Kennedy smiled at me. "Hi."
"Hey. I was just finishing up some last minute stuff." She let me in and we ran upstairs. I followed her into her room.
"You didn't mention Adam was your step brother."
"Not really the first thing I'd want to mention." She shrugged. She finished her makeup and loosely curled her hair. "Ready." I smiled.
"Beautiful." She blushed. "Come on." She grabbed my hand. We walked out and ran downstairs.
"Bye!" We got in the car and left. "Where to?"
"Nando's or Starbucks?" I glanced at her.
"Frozen yogurt?" She pointed to a shop. I pulled in the parking lot. We got out and walked inside.
"Hi! What can I get you?"
"I would like strawberry with nuts." Kennedy smiled.
"I want blueberry with whipped cream." She nodded and started fixing our yogurt. She gave us the cups and I paid her. "Thank you." We walked to a table and sat down.
"I could have paid for mine." She looked at me.
"But I already did." I smiled. "So uhm, tell me more about yourself."
"Not much to me. I'm Australian. My dad travels a lot. I'm an only child. My mom left us right after my birth. I really like to draw and I'm a pretty good DJ. What about you?"
"I have a twin and I love music. I play guitar and piano. I can sing."
Jayden's POV
Kendall was talking to his mom and I had my headphones on. I felt a hand on my thigh and looked up smiling. I took off my headphones. "Please?" Kendall whispered in my ear. I looked at the cup of yogurt in front of me. I nodded and started eating. "So when is Kyle coming home?"
"They said once his head injury is fully healed he can leave. That may take months."
"Oh." I finished my yogurt and yawned. "We're going to go. She barely slept any last night."
"Okay." I smiled. Kendall grabbed my hand, getting up. I got up and we left, throwing our trash away on our way out.
"Shouldn't we go say goodbye to Kyle?" I looked up at him. He shrugged, nodding. We walked back to his room to find him kissing the nurse. The door slammed shut and they looked at us.
"Oh hey."
"Hi. You seem to be doing way better." His nurse walked by us. "We're going to go. Mom should be up soon."
"Okay thanks. Talk to you guys later." He smiled. Kendall grabbed my hand. We walked out and got in the car. He started the car, pulling out if the parking lot.
"Babe?"
"Yeah?" Kendall glanced at me.
"I don't feel good can you pull over?" He pulled over and I got out, running to a tree.
Kendall's POV
I followed her to a tree. She threw up. "Jay?"
"Yes?"
"What happened?" I rubbed her back.
"Would you believe expired yogurt?" She puked again.
"Not likely. The truth."
"It happens when I eat. My body is so used to not having food in it that I get sick whenever I do eat something." She took off her flannel, wiping her mouth. "Between starving and purging, I rarely have food in me."
"So this is because of you hurting yourself?" She nodded. "Not anymore." I pulled her in my arms. "I love you."
"I love you too." We got back in the car and she rinsed her mouth with a bottle of water. I took her home and we went inside.
"You!" Her dad charged at me. "You kept my daughter away from home for two days!" He slammed me into the wall.
"Dad! Stop! You're going to hurt him!" Jayden hit her father's back. "Dad." He looked at her. He let me go and I watched them. "I asked to stay with him."
"Fine but we need to talk."
Jaylen's POV
Kennedy and I walked around the park. "Freaks." I looked at a group of popular kids. "You're supposed to be with a guy!" I looked down with tears in my eyes.
"Hey." I sniffled. "It's okay. They're irrelevant." I my vision cleared as a tear spilled over. "You're new to this aren't you?"
"Is it that obvious?" I wiped the tear off my cheek.
"It's okay. We don't have to stay." She led me back to the car. I giggled when she flipped off the girl that yelled at us. "Hey bitch!" They looked at us, a few bystanders stopping. Kennedy gave me a quick kiss. "We can like whoever I want. Girl or boy. It's still the same love." She smiled at me.
"Thank you." I smiled.
