Kennedy's POV
Jaylen climbed in the limo behind me. "Hello Jaylen." She smiled at my dad.
"Hi." He leaned over and hugged her. Adam smiled at us. I laid on her shoulder, smiling. She grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers.
"I see you two are still very happy."
"Yes sir." She smiled at me. I leaned up to kiss her and she turned her head.
"Jay." I whined. My dad chuckled. She smiled. I kissed her cheek. "So dad where are we going?"
"That my dear is a surprise." I took in his apparel. He had on jeans, a button down, and Timberland boots. I looked at Adam who sported jeans, a v-neck, and converse.
"Why are we the only ones dressed up?" The limo stopped and I looked at Jaylen.
"Because we will not be with you. This is a date." I looked at him. "Have fun." The driver opened the door and we got out. "See you two after the date."
"Okay?" I smiled. We walked in.
"If I had've known, I would've worn a tux or something." Jaylen smiled at me. "But I do believe I owe you a kiss?" I nodded. She wrapped an arm around my waist, kissing me softly. I smiled, my hands cupping her cheeks. She pulled away and grabbed my hand. "Come on." We walked to the table for two set up.
"Your appetizers."
Jayden's POV
Kendall cuddled closer to me, soft snores slipping past his parted lips. "Big ass spoon." A soft groan was heard and he chuckled.
"But you love it." He looked up at me.
"No I love being cuddled not being the cuddler." He smiled, his bright blue eyes lit up. "I'm in love with your eyes." I smiled.
"Why? They're just blue." I shook my head.
"They're like," I stared into them, "Undescribable. They're brighter than the ocean, but darker than the sky. They're the perfect color." I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Well yours are gorgeous." I shook my head. "Yes they are. The perfect mixture of green and grey. Plus they change depending on your mood." I rolled my eyes. "Like now, they're a vibrant shade of green."
"So I'm happy. I get my mom's eyes when I'm upset and my dad's when I'm happy." I smiled, running my fingers through his blonde locks.
"What about when they mix?"
"It means I'm undecided or confused." He looked up at me.
"So you were serious the other night at the restaurant?" I nodded. "They went from greenish-grey to green."
"Yes." I smiled. "I love you." He smiled.
"I love you too pretty eyes." I blushed. One of our phones buzzed and he sat up. "Is that yours or mine?" He pulled his phone from his pocket and I grabbed mine. I saw a new message from my sister.
Twin💕😘: We need to talk can you come get me?
To Twin💕😘: What happened?
Twin💕😘: Just come get me please.
"What's wrong?" Kendall's eyes scanned my face.
"I need to go get Jaylen." We got up and ran out.
Jaylen's POV
My sister pulled up and got out. "Jay what happened?"
"I told her the truth. I love her. She broke up with me." She wiped my tears.
"Come on." We got in the car. Kendall was driving. She sat in the back with me. "Can you take us home?" He nodded.
We pulled up to the house and went inside. "You go change and come to my room." She wiped another tear. I nodded, trudging upstairs. I threw my heels on the floor and changed from my dress to a pair of black Converse joggers, a tank top, and a beanie that said 'Fall Out Boy'. "Jay?"
"Come in." The door opened and my sister poked her head in.
"Do you want anything?"
"My girlfriend back." I bit my lip.
"Trust me bub, I tried." I looked up at her. "I texted her, called her, snapchat, and Direct Message." She frowned. "She read them and didn't respond. I'm sorry." I looked down. "What exactly happened?"
"We were talking and eating. I told her I loved her. It slipped out on accident. She looked at me and said we needed to break up then she left."
"She didn't say why?" I shook my head. "Okay."
"Would you mind if I stayed in here for a minute?" I frowned.
"Of course love. Let me know if you need something." I nodded.
Jayden's POV
I walked out and went to my room. "Are you okay?" I nodded at Kendall.
"I can't stand her being so upset." I sat on the bed. "Will you come with me?" He nodded. We got in the car and left.
I pulled up to Adam's house. We got out and walked up. I knocked, Kendall wrapping an arm around my waist. Adam opened the door. "Jayden? Kendall? What are you two doing here?"
"Is Kennedy here?" He nodded and let us in.
"Maybe you can get her out of her room." I smiled. "Upstairs first door on the right." I nodded running upstairs. I knocked on the door.
Kennedy opened the door. She still had on her dress. "Jaylen?"
"Jayden. Jay's at home upset." She let me in. "You look beautiful."
"Thank you. Jaylen did my hair and let me borrow her shoes." She smiled.
"Is that a smile I see?" She giggled. "So how come you broke up with her?"
"Because I love her too." She looked at me. "I love her back but when I tried to tell her back, I blurted out the opposite."
"Can I show you something?" She nodded. "What color are my eyes?"
"Grey." I nodded. I ran downstairs and got Kendall. I dragged him back.
"What about now?" I smiled, laying my head on his shoulder.
"Green. How did you do that?"
"Mine and Jaylen's eyes change color depending on our mood."
"Her eyes did seem to change. But most of the time, they were a gorgeous green. I messed up. Can you help me?" I nodded. "Can you get Jayden to meet me at the park?"
"Sure. What's your plan?"
