Jaylen's POV
Jayden and Kendall walked down and Dakota looked up. "You still want that ice cream before I leave princess?" She nodded. "Do you two want to go?"
"Sure. Jay, can I borrow some clothes?" My sister nodded, dragging me upstairs. "Why not twin today?" I smirked. "Speaking of which, why are all of my dresses and skirts missing?"
"Oh. Uh, I might have taken them." She blushed. I smiled. "I grabbed my dress like the one she had on. I put my boots back on and she gave me a denim vest. I fixed my bandana and followed her back down. Kendall grabbed her hand and I picked up my niece. "Kota say hi." We looked at Jayden, holding her GoPro camera.
"Hi!" I smiled.
"We're going to get ice cream!" Dakota clapped.
Jayden vlogged the whole trip to and from the ice cream shop. "I gotta go. Bye babygirl."
"Bye. I love you."
"I love you too." She kissed him.
"Gross." I smiled. "We'll be inside." I took the camera and picked up Dakota. She giggled.
"Bye bye daddy!" She waved at him.
"Bye princess." He smiled. I took Dakota inside.
"Okay guys, we're going to play a prank on Jayden. You want to scare your mommy?" I looked at Dakota. She nodded and I smiled. "Lets go."
We finished the prank and I put Dakota downstairs. I heard her cry and I laid on the bed. "What's wrong?"
"Ottie." I heard footsteps and the door opened.
"Oh my god! Jay!" I stayed still. I'd held my breath long enough for my pulse to slow down. I heard the sound of plastic hitting the floor indicating she'd found the pill bottle. "Jaylen." Her voice cracked. "I have to call an ambulance." I heard her walk out. I got up, running downstairs.
"Who are you calling?" She turned around. Dakota smiled.
"What the fuck!"
"Fuck!" I looked at Dakota.
"Don't say that baby girl." Jayden dragged me in the kitchen. "Why did you do that?"
"It was a prank. I'm sorry." I hugged her. We went back and I grabbed the camera. "Kota?" She looked at me. "Say bye bye."
"Bye bye!" She waved at me. I smiled. Jayden and I waved and signed off.
"Bye guys!" We turned off the camera. "What now?"
"Do you want to go somewhere?" I shook my head. Dakota pulled cushions off the couch and dragged them to the couch. "What is-" I shushed her. Dakota stacked the cushions the best she could and climbed on the couch, sitting between us with her toy.
"You have a smart little girl." I smiled at my niece, lightly pinching her cheek.
"I know. And I love her so so much!" She kissed her daughter's cheek. "She looks so much like Kendall I can't believe she's not his child."
"Kennedy broke up with me again." She looked at me.
"Why?" I looked down.
"Well we didn't break up but she wants us to take a break because I told her I didn't want her walking around the complex by herself." I looked back up. "She got mad and thinks we should take a break from each other. Was I in the wrong?"
"No. You want her to stay safe. You love her too much to let her be in danger."
My phone buzzed in my lap. "It's her." I answered.
