Based on what the flier said, the client lives in a mansion in the East Forest. Yeah, I know, who builds a mansion in a forest? But hey, I'm not judging and it pays 100,000,000,000 jewels. All I need is for the train to arrive at the station and I'll be good to go.

While I waited, I heard all too familiar voices yelling. "HURRY UP ASH TRAY, WE'LL MISS THE TRAIN!!!"

"SHUT UP ICE STRIPPER! YOU KNOW I DON'T LIKE TRAINS."

I turn to see Natsu and Gray being pulled by their ears by Erza, followed by Wendy, Carla, Happy, and Lucy.

As they approached me I asked, "What're you doing here?"

"Remember you're apart of Team Natsu, we work together no matter what." Natsu pumped his fist in the air.

"Lucy, you came?" I glanced at her with a smile.

"You didn't think you could get rid of me that easily, did you?" Lucy gave me a wink and I blushed.

"He liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikes her." Happy cooed.

This caused my face to turn dark red, apparently Lucy's too. "SHUT UP CAT!!!" We both said in unison.

Lucy then walked over to him and punched him repeatedly on the head. "Lushee, you're so cruel!" He cried out. This caused us to laugh for a long time.

When the train came, we all got on, but Natsu wasn't enjoying it.

I sweatdropped. "Uh, is he okay?"

Lucy shook her head. "He gets motion sickness." Then she looks at me questionably. "How come you don't get motion sickness?"

"That's easy," I smiled. "Since I'm an Universal Dragon Slayer, I'm also part Sky Dragon Slayer, like Wendy. So I don't get motion sickness."

Wendy kneeled beside Natsu. "Don't worry, I can heal you." Then she used what I guessed was Troia.

Natsu then jumped up on his feet and grinned. "Yeah, now I'm all fired up!"

Gray facepalmed, "Geez Flame-for-Brains, imagine if Wendy hadn't came along."

After listening to Natsu and Gray argue, then get beat up by Erza for about an hour, I decided to step out and get some fresh air. Trust me, they're fun to be around and I've only been here for 3 weeks, but I just needed to think.

I found myself outside of the last cart, facing the tracks that we left behind. I leaned on the rail and started thinking about everything that has happened; from my arrival to this job. But it's mainly that voice that keeps entering my mind. I'm not going crazy, because this voice is familiar, but I can't tell from where. It bugged me that I can't figure out what the voice thing was all about, and why it was in my head. I will find out, but first, I have to find my mother and father.

I heard the door open and I turned around to see Lucy step out of the cart.

"Hey," I greeted her, a bit surprised.

She leaned against the railing beside me. "Are you sure you're okay?"

I looked at my hands. "There's just......so much I wanna tell you, but..."

Lucy scooted over, so close that I could smell her scent. "Then what's stopping you?"

I smirked. "Wouldn't Natsu be a bit jealous about this?"

We both stood up, with only inches of space between us. "Natsu has Lisanna, and they're happy with each other. And you're getting off topic."

"Oh........" Well I felt stupid. But then I got serious and looked Lucy in the eyes. "There's something wrong with me..... There's this voice in my head and it told me about you guys before I met you, it told me about Jellal.....this voice wants me to do all of these things that don't seem right. I-I don't know what to do..."

Lucy stood there in silence, then she put her hand in mine, of course, I blushed. "We're here for you, Lycas. I am here for you, no matter what."

I could feel tears begin to fill my eyes. I pulled Lucy closer and wrapped her in a hug, not wanting to let her go. "Thank you," I whispered. "Thank you for everything."

I could feel her heart racing as her hands slowly wrapped around my neck. The perks of being a Dragon Slayer. I pulled back with a smile, and I saw that I obviously made her blush badly.

Right as I was about to point it out, something in the air caught my nose, a specific type of scent. It wasn't natural at all.

"What is it?" Lucy asked, worriedly.

"Something," I sniffed the air. "ain't right here. It's hard to explain, but you know how Dragon Slayers have keen senses? Well, there's some scent in the air that seems very, VERY off. I can't place it but it's bad."

Just then Natsu came rushing outside. "What's going on?"

"You smell it too?" I asked.

He nodded. "It ain't normal that's for sure."

I frowned and closed my eyes, trying to concentrate on what it was. Everything is so out of place.

You worry too much for these people, Lycas. They can't do nothing for you.

'That's where you're wrong.' I thought. 'They would do anything for me!'

Fine suit yourself. But soon you will suffer of pain, anger, and betrayal. Don't be surprised when these happen to you, because I warned you.

What?

"..cas...Lycas....LYCAS!" I looked up to see Natsu shaking my shoulders. "You okay man? You seemed to zone out."

I glanced over at Lucy, seeing that she understood what happened. "It's nothing. Come on, the train will be arriving shortly."

We arrived at the train station that was about 10 minutes from the East Forest, so we could just walk to the client's house. I mean, how hard could it be for you to miss a mansion in a forest? It took a bit longer because we had to wait for Erza to get all of her "luggage" off the train.

Certainly you don't need that much stuff for a job, do you? Yeah this job said that it would take 5 months but that's not necessarily true. All we had to do was take down 2 dark guilds and decipher a letter.

I'd seen that Erza had her luggage so I decided to start walking. Lucy caught up to me and we walked along the path, talking about our magic, our friends, the guild, things like that.

I must say, she's a really nice person to talk to. I mean she's funny, kind, smart, beautiful- no! Stop thinking that way, Lycas. Come on, you're on a mission for crying out loud! Get serious. But then I just so happened to glance at her while she was talking about her Celestial Spirits. The eagerness in her eyes, her addictive, glistening brown eyes. NO! No no no no no NOOOOOO! Why was I thinking that way?

"We're here." Erza said, breaking my trail of thoughts.
