I glared at Serena and Iris as they stood there, waiting as if they were expecting an invitation. I've never hated someone as much as I hated them in my entire life, except for Hades and Himiki.

Serena looked around with a questionable face. "You'd think we  would've seen a place this big...guess not."

"What're you doing here?" I spat in disgust.

"That's not nice," Iris pouted. "Shouldn't you treat your friends nicer than that?"

"I do treat my friends nicer than that. You two, however, are not my friends." I sneered. I stepped in front of Val, keeping her separated from them as much as possible. I looked over and saw the smirk on Serena's face. Damn, she knows.

Serena took a step forward. "Who's your little girlfriend?"

I felt my anger rising. "Stay away from her. I swear if you touch her-"

"You'll what? What will you do?" She challenged.

"I'll kill you, slowly and painfully...by then you'll have wished I ended your pathetic life quickly." I seethed.

There was a pang of pain behind my eyes and then it happened. The pain traveled in my body, coursing through my veins. I let out a burst of dark aura, surrounded by blue flames. My eyes glowed a translucent blue and narrowed to slits. Letting out a low growl, I felt my fangs elongate and sharpen. The tip of my ears grew pointed, like an elf. Out of no where, a black material, somewhat like steeled bone, covered all of my right arm. The bone grew over my fingers, turning into claws while my left encased in the black crystal from my Demon Sage Magic.

I raised up my right hand, gazing at it while flexing my fingers. "This is the power of the Demon Sage, Alarzak Ichigua, passed down from generation to generation. I call it, Demonic Dragon Force."

I glared at Serena and Iris, seeing the fear in their eyes. Taking a step forward, I felt the power surge all around me. I snapped my fingers and my katana appeared strapped to my back. With each step I took, the sisters took a step back, fearing for what I could do... Oh the wonders.

"W-what-?" Iris stammered.

"What the hell are you?!" Serena exclaimed in terror.

A thick fog began to fill the entire area, giving me the advantage. I disappeared and reappeared behind the two. The enhancement on my eyes helped me to see where they were. Wings that resembled those of a black dragon's spouted from my back.

I grabbed Iris by the back of her collar and flew above the area.

"What's happening?! Put me down!" She shrieked. Fear flashed across her face as she realized what she had just done.

"As you wish." I grinned demonically. I released my grip as she plummeted towards the ground. I flew down and hovered inches of the ground, waiting for her to get closer. Right as she was about to make contact, I dashed forward and let her fall onto my clawed hand. The edges of the claws sunk deep into her stomach, cutting through her intestines and emerging out her back. I heard her gasp and cough out blood, satisfied with my progress. Pulling my hand out of her stomach, I let her fall to the ground, lying in a large pool of blood oozing from her massive wound.

I appeared in front of Serena, since she couldn't see me through the fog. My wings retracted into my back and I stepped closer. "If I remember correctly, you asked what I was."

In fright, she shook her hands forward. "Dark Explosive Cannon!"

I knocked her hands upward and stepped forward, getting up close and personal. She had antagonized me, making me look like a fool as I killed one close to me. Now, she was gonna know a slow, painful death.

Grinning, I placed a hand on the side of her neck. "Don't worry, this will only hurt.......a lot." My hand clasped tightly against her neck. The tips of my claws pierced her skin, making her scream in pain.

"What's the matter," I taunted. "You were cocky earlier. What happened to that?"

The fog cleared and my hand caught alight with a thick purple flame. Her neck singed and turned pale yellow with green, the sign of infection. The smell of burning flesh filled my nose, satisfying me even more.

Serena screamed in a raspy tone and I laughed. "If you're wondering, this is a poisonous flame. It will not only burn you, but it will also infect your system with a strong acid that will kill you in a matter of hours, the most agonizing hours of your life."

Someone came up behind me and tugged hard on my back. I glanced behind me and saw it was Val.

"You don't need to do this," Val exclaimed. "You've made your point, they won't bother us anymore. Please, Lycas, STOP IT!" Val stepped back, trembling and her eyes glazed over with tears. I froze and felt myself turn back to normal.

What have I become?

As I dropped Serena to wither away, she disappeared before she hit the ground. I looked over to see Iris was no longer on the ground either.

I faced Val and felt myself shaking. "I-I.....I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I whispered.

Val stood there, her shoulders shaking as she cried silently. I stepped forward and wrapped my arms around her waist, bringing her closer. I hugged her tight as she draped her arms around my neck, sobbing into my shoulder.

"I didn't want to believe that was you," she shuddered. "I-I was afraid...afraid that you were no longer you. You seemed evil and filled with hate to the point to where I didn't even recognize you...I can't lose you again..."

My breath staggered as I breathed in. "I'm sorry, Val. I won't do that again, I promise. And I won't ever leave you again."

I sunk to the ground with her, rocking her back and forth. I couldn't imagine what she was going through as she saw me, a monster.

I laid on the bed thinking of everything that happened.

After that 'episode', I walked into the cabin with Val and decided to take a shower. It took a while to get the blood out of my clothes and off of my hands. The image flashed into my mind from seeing the blood and I fell to the floor of the bathtub, shaken and afraid. I curled up there, wishing that it would all go away and I could be normal again, but then again I was never normal.

Now here I was, laying on the bed with my hands behind my head. I closed my eyes, breathing in the scent of my clean clothes and the fresh air coming through the opened window.

I heard the floorboards creak and felt someone get on the bed, laying on top of me. I opened my eyes and saw Val straddling me. With a smile, she laid down where she was and rested her head on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and breathed her in; she smelt like sweet lavender and chocolate.

"You okay?" She whispered.

I sighed. "I could be better."

Val traced swirls on my chest with her finger as we laid there in silence. I needed this, the silent and her being with me. I just needed time to clear my head, trying to get the images to stop playing in my head.

I glanced at my hand and saw the image of my clawed hand covered in blood. Cringing, I shut my eyes tight and waited until the dizziness went away. When I opened my eyes, I saw Val's azure blue eyes staring into mine.

"What's wrong?" She asked, worriedly.

I sighed. "Just having a hard time forgetting of some things."

"Maybe I can help." With that Val, leaned forward and her lips met mine. I sat there, shocked for a moment, then closed my eyes. I felt her kiss not for pleasure, but for desperation. Val wanted me to let her clear my mind. I kissed Val back and held her tight.

I pulled back and gazed into her eyes, then leaned my head on hers. "Well that just happened." I chuckled.

Val giggled and kissed me one last time before falling asleep, me along with her.
