After Erza and Jellal had their moment together, and by moment I mean an hour of saying they missed each other, Levy shouted with excitement. "We should go to the pool!"

We all looked at her then at each other. The pool sounded like a good idea. We were, after all, at a resort. The girls left to get changed and then us boys went into our rooms put in our swim shorts. When I stepped out of my room, with my sandals and black swim shorts on, everyone was all ready. I was surprised when I saw Natsu without his scarf, I mean he never takes it off.

I frowned when I noticed we were missing someone. "Hey, where's Jellal?"

Everyone looked around the room and found.... Nothing. It wasn't until Wendy looked out the window that she saw him in the parking lot, waiting I guessed. Wow, did he think we were already there?

Since Juvia seemed to know her way around the place, she led us to where the pool was. I was amazing, really. It was very long in length and the signs read that it went up to 15 feet deep. There was a large water slide near the deep end along with some diving boards here and there scattered along the sides.

I looked over to Natsu and grinned childishly. "Last one there is a wimpy Dragon Slayer!!" Then I dashed off, jumping high in the air and landing with a large splash in the deep end. I surfaced and shook my head. "Come on, you guys are slow!"

Natsu and Gray came running toward the pool, then performed a front flip into the pool simultaneously. Following them was Gajeel, who ended up throwing Levy in along the way.

Levy shoved Gajeel once he got in. "Why did you do that?!" She huffed then got out to sit with the rest of the girls.

Jellal, Laxus, and Romeo came in and we had a huge water fight, that is until Gray froze the pool. With the help of Natsu and I, we melted the ice and had a good time. It was nice to have a brother, even if he did act childish.

I looked over to where the girls were sitting and just couldn't pass up the idea. I looked over to Natsu and nodded my head to the girls. "I've got an idea, follow my lead." We stealthily swam to the edge then hopped up and out of the pool, blocking the girls' sunlight.

Lisanna took off her sunglasses. "Um, can you guys move? You're in the way of our sun."

Lucy looked at us cautiously. "Uh, boys?"

I grinned evilly and glanced at Natsu. "Our pleasure."

Lucy and Lisanna froze when they realized what was happening but it was too late. I grabbed Lucy by the waist and threw her over my shoulder, Natsu following suit with Lisanna.

The girls were flailing and pounding on our backs. "Put us down!" They screamed simultaneously, but knew what they said was a mistake.

Natsu chuckled. "As you wish." Then we threw the girls into the pool. I jumped in and laughed as Lucy came up splashing water around like the world had just ended.

I went under Lucy and placed her on my shoulders. "Chicken Fight!" I yelled as I surfaced.

Natsu then got Lisanna on his shoulders and moved forward, determined to win. I came forward and Lucy gave a hard shove to Lisanna. She wobbled backward unsteadily but gained her balance. Natsu and I came forward as Lucy and Lisanna gripped each other on the arm and shoved back. Lucy then caught Lisanna off guard and grabbed her foot, causing her to flip off.

When Lisanna came up, she frowned as Natsu pointed and laughed. She grabbed his head and dunked him under water. She scoffed. "Who's laughing now?"

Lucy then smiled down at me. "Now I don't want to miss out on the fun." She grabbed my head and dunked me under water. Did I have to remind them that I was part Water Dragon Slayer? I swam out from under her and quickly went over to the deepest part of the pool and floated there.

After a while, I heard Lucy's muffled screaming and saw her dive under water. I acted dead and floated lifelessly in the water. This was too much fun! She swam over to my and pulled me to the surface, dragging me to the side of the pool. I could feel her trembling as she lifted my over and on the concrete, but I still kept my eyes closed and acted dead.

People started gathering around as she started to perform CPR. Wow, I wondered how far this was gonna go. When her lips made contact with mine, I could hear her sobs in the back of her throat. Okay, maybe I carried this too far. I made water form in my throat and then when she pumped my chest, I fake coughed and spit the water to the side.

I sat up and looked around at everybody; they were all pale in the face, Lisanna held a trembling hand over her mouth and Natsu stood behind her, shaking. They all looked traumatized. Yep, let's not tell them that it was a joke. Dang I had a sense of humor.

I looked over to Lucy and she wrapped her arms around my neck, crying into my shoulder. "I thought you were dead! What would I have done if you did?! I wouldn't be able to live with myself."

Closing my eyes, I pulled her close and rested my head on hers. I whispered in her ear, softly. "Don't worry I'm not going anywhere for a long time. It's okay, I'm here."

Lucy looked up at me and I wiped her tears off her cheek with my thumb. I smiled and helped her up. I slipped my hand in hers and led her away from from the rest, over to the side of the hotel. "I'm sorry I scared you. I didn't mean to and I'll be more careful next time."

She wrapped her arms around my waist and hugged me tightly, resting her head on my chest. "I don't want to lose you, Lycas. I love you and I'd be empty and wouldn't know what to do if you-"

I leaned down and kissed her. I felt her warm, soft lips against mine, savoring the feeling of heat spreading through my body. I felt tears roll down her cheek and off her chin. She openly kissed me back, desperate to never let go. I wouldn't ever leave her, I'd stay beside her until we both died together. I pulled away and gazed into her eyes, her soft and caring chocolate brown eyes.

We turned when we heard someone clear their throat. And, of course, it was Ian. He was in white swim shorts and no shirt, revealing his overly skinny body and his fake tan, along with a towel draped over his shoulder. A pair of blue sunglasses sat on his head. "I don't mean to interrupt, but I need to speak to Lucy."

"If you need to say it to her, then you can say it to me." I stepped forward.

"Well, Lucy," Ian glared at me then smiled at her. "I wanted to know if you'd come hiking me with. Then I was thinking that-"

I reached out and gripped his throat, causing him to squeak. "You're crossing boundaries, bud. She's not interested and she's already taken, now get lost or I'll have to show you exactly what it's like to get in one's personal life."

He pried off my hand and stepped forward to Lucy. "Come on Lucy, I just want to-"

Catching his wrist, I bent it backwards and made him face me, seeing the pain in his eyes. "Not so fast, kid."

Lucy frowned and slapped him. "I'm taken, you pervert. Go away and leave us girls alone." She looked at me. "Babe, can you take care of him?"

I blush for a moment at the sudden nickname but it went away when I grinned. "Gladly, baby." I punched him in the gut, causing him to double over, then I gripped his throat and threw him into the wall on the other side of the lot.

She smiled giddily and clung to my arm, pecking my cheek. "You're so sexy when you show off for me."

I pulled her to me and wrapped an arm around her shoulders and grinned. "Well, that was just a small portion from me. Don't forget that all the other guys want a piece of that little rat, too. I just got lucky in calling first dibs."

We then walked back to the hotel and met up with the rest of the guild.
