I folded my arms, studying the two Dragon Slayers. They looked strong, but is it just the looks or are they really powerful?
The blonde guy stepped forward and smiled. "You must be Lycas! Yukino told us a lot about you. I'm Sting, the Light Dragon Slayer of Sabertooth." He stuck out a hand.
I grinned and shook it. "Nice to meet ya, Sting. So, a Light Dragon Slayer? That's a new one. But then again, you haven't heard of mine."
Sting tilted his head. "What type of Dragon Slayer are you?"
"I'm an Universal Dragon Slayer." I clicked my tongue.
The black haired guy stepped in front of Sting. "My name is Rogue, the Shadow Dragon Slayer of Sabertooth. It is a pleasure to meet you, Lycas."
I nodded. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Rogue."
Sting smirked as he stood beside Rogue. "Well we didn't come here just to have tea! We came to see how strong you are, so what do you say? Us against you."
Yukino frowned. "That's an unfair fight. Shouldn't Natsu join in, or one of the other Dragon Slayers?"
Val walked up beside me grinning. "Oh trust me, two on one is the least he could do for them. Natsu and Gajeel can join Sting and Rogue to make it fair."
Rogue shook his head. "No, just me and Sting against Lycas."
"Okay then, follow me." I replied, leading them to the area behind the guild that we used for training. Man, so many memories back here. It's where I had my first fight against Natsu. Rogue and Sting stood on the far end of the training court while I was on the other end, facing them.
Mira stepped in the middle of the court. "Alright! No cheating and no dirty fighting. This is not a serious fight, so have fun and don't do anything stupid..or I'll have to step in and break it up." She grinned evilly.
I saw Rogue scoff while Sting shuddered, making me chuckle. They don't know what Mira's capable of.
"FIGHT!"
Then Rogue and Sting charged, appearing beside me and punching with lightning quick strikes. I ducked and kicked their feet out from under them. Rogue jumped up in the air and aimed a kick to my throat. I gripped his foot and threw him into Sting. After recovering, Sting dashed forward and hit me in the jaw. I grinned and turned my face, punching him in the gut and kicking him away in the face.
Rogue got up and grinned. "Shadow Dragon's Crushing Fang!" Shadows gathered around his hand in the form of claws and he rushed forward, swiping for my chest. I felt nothing at first, then a sharp pain as the shadow cut through skin. I jumped back just in time to dodge another swipe from Rogue. I stepped back and kicked Rogue, sending him across the field.
I grinned. "Universal Dragon's Explosive Strike!" Black and gold flame-like energy gathered in my palm as I shot it at Rogue, hitting his stomach. Then it burst into a huge flame, sending debris in every direction. Sensing someone behind me, I did a back-flip just in time to avoid a punch from Sting. As I landed, I jumped up and kneed him in the back of the head. "Poison Dragon's Fang Thrust!" A snake head formed out of poison and bit down on Sting, rushing him with poisonous fire. Sting flew and landed beside Rogue. Both of them got up panting.
Sting smirked. "It's gonna take more than that to beat us." He closed his eyes as white aura gathered around him and shadows gathered around Rogue. I frowned as scales appeared on both of them.
Rogue and Sting chanted simultaneously, "Dragon Drive!"
"No it's only fair that I show you my trick." I challenged. Closing my eyes, I concentrated on the energy within, hoping to keep from having another incident. I felt the black and red aura surround me and my eyes narrowed to slits, glowing red. The bold streaks turned into the black crystal, ripping the bandage and encased my entire arm. The tips of my finger turned to claws, but that wasn't it. Suddenly, my eyes turned gold and my hair spiked up, causing my bandana to fall off revealing my pointed ears. Streaks of red appeared in my hair and black and gold scales appeared on my face and right arm, trailing down and covering my right half of my torso. "Demonic Sage Mode!"
Sting charged faster than before, but he wasn't fast enough. I dodged his kick and gathered ice fragments alight with fire and cold flames in my hand. "Devil Slayer's Secret Art: Unholy Shear Flame!" I pressed my hand to his chest, sending him flying with a blast of sheer cold flames.
Rogue came from behind and I grabbed his wrist, bringing him down while slamming my knee into his jaw. As he stumbled backwards I jumped up and thrashed out quick, then cupped my hands together as a spark of energy appeared, turning into a fierce sphere of black and white fire that was no bigger than a softball. "Universal Dragon's Secret Art: Raging Genocide Breaker!" Throwing the ball at Rogue, it burst in impact, swallowing his body in black and white fire. The blast threw him across the ground, landing on top of Sting.
I landed on the ground, turning back to normal. The pain in my chest increased and I fell to one knee. Breathing heavily, I gripped my chest, feeling the pain burn throughout my body. The worst part was, my arm with the Sage Mark looks like it had invisible fire engulfing it. The pain was excruciating, causing me to cringe and fall forward. The last thing I saw was Val running towards me before everything blacked out.

I woke up in a brightly lit room, due to the sun shining through the window. I sat up, only to stop at the pain ripping through my body. I laid back down and looked around, noticing that I was in Fairy Tail's infirmary. I looked to the left to see Sting laying on the bed next to me, wrapped up in bandages. He was asleep, luckily, and I noticed the Rogue was on the other side of him, in the same state as Sting. The door opened and Val walked in, relief washing over her face as she saw I was awake. She ran over and jumped on the bed, gripping me in a hug. "I'm so glad you're awake! You worried me when you fell and you've been in a coma for 5 weeks and-"
"Val, you're hurting me..." I croaked. My throat hurt and felt raw, as if I had screamed my lungs out.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" She got off the bed and pulled up a chair, siting next to me. "I was afraid you weren't going to wake up..."
I looked at her and saw that she was crying. I placed a hand on her cheek and wiped a tear away with my thumb. "Shh, it's okay. I'm fine really."
Val held my hand in both of hers, leaning into my hand. "I didn't know what to do. You looked fine but your Magic had spiked too much for your body to take. We tried to apply medicine to your wounds, but your body would start steaming and you'd scream bloody murder...I felt helpless, knowing I couldn't do anything to help you. Yukino and Kagura would come in every now and then to see how you three were doing, but you'd be in the same state as before. I-"
I pulled her in and kissed her, cutting her off. As she kissed back, I placed a hand on her cheek and pulled away, resting my forehead on hers. "I love you, Val."
She sniffled. "I love you too, Ly."
She helped me out of the infirmary and sat me down at a table, where I was bombarded by people.
Romeo jumped in awe. "How did you do that?!"
"I spent 2 years training, what'd you expect?"
Wendy nudged her way through. "What did you call the last thing you did? What else did you do?"
"I learned some new techniques and created some too. It takes a lot of effort."
"What's on your left arm?" This came from Natsu.
I sighed. "It's one of the new techniques I learned. I call it Demon Sage Magic, but it acted weird and affected my Dragon Force."
"What about those move?"
"I've never heard of Devil Slayer Magic, neither Demon Sage?"
"Is it hard to be that strong?"
"Did you get tired?"
I rolled my eyes and sighed. This is gonna be a long day...
