Vacation (Part 2): So Many Things

We entered the hotel and gasped at first sight. Everything was made of fabric was velvet and the pillars and such were gold. They don't just name these hotels "Five Star" for nothing. I was just glad that we got to stay in a place like this for 2 weeks, away from the guild. I mean, I love them to death, but you always need your space from people or you'll go crazy.

A bellhop guy appeared in front of us with the most faked smile ever. "Good afternoon, I am Ian and I'll be helping you on this fine day!" He gazed at the girls and got a bit too close for my taste. "My, you women are truly beautiful. The most beautiful women I have ever seen."

I frowned as he placed a hand on the small of Lucy's and Lisanna's back. Natsu didn't like it either.

I nodded and we stepped forward, in front of the girls and Ian. "Ok, you're our obnoxious bellboy, we get it. Now, could we get to our rooms?"

Ian looked at me in disgust, stepping closer. "And who might you be?"

Me and Natsu stepped forward, looking down on him a bit. "We're these girls' boyfriends. And you're crossing lines, buddy."

That was when the rest of the guys stepped forward, beside the rest of the girls. Ian cowered back a bit because he's pretty small compared to us. I grinned as he threw us the keys and scurried off. Ha, that's what I thought you little rat. Ain't brave enough be around when the predators come out to play. I looked over to Natsu, who strangely, understood what I was thinking and grinned.

We got out of the elevator and went to the floor we were on. Our rooms were Room 407 and 408. It was good that they were close, now we could tell when that Ian rat would be near the girls. The girls had taken their key and went to their room. We did the same, thinking it was weird for 6 guys to be randomly standing in the middle of the hall.

Before we went in, Makarov stepped in front of us. "Now, you boys are to be on your best behavior and treat our guest with respect. Now, have fun! I'll be on the top floor in my room if you need me." Then he disappeared.

I frowned. "Did he say 'guest'?"

Natsu frowned. "We're sharing the room with someone?!"

"Calm down," Gray reassured. "Remember, we have to show respect, Gramps' orders. So no breaking things, Flame Breath."

Natsu pouted and muttered something about being weak, but I didn't catch it. Gray opened the door and everybody was shocked when they saw a dude with blue hair and a red mark under his right eye.

"JELLAL?!" The guys said in unison, except me. Was this the Jellal that Lucy had referred to?

He waved his hand with a small smile. "Hi, guys. Master Makarov brought me here. Said something about it being Mira's plan."

Everybody face palmed, excepted me, again.

I made eye contact with him and his smile disappeared. "I see there's a new member to Fairy Tail."

"Yeah," I said, stepping forward. "And who the hell are you?"

Gray and Laxus stepped in front of me, each placing a hand on one of my shoulders.

Gray stared at me. "Lycas, it's okay. Jellal's good. He's with a guild called Crime Sorciere. They take down dark guilds and he's not the same guy as he used to be. Trust me."

I kept starring at Jellal, but then glanced at Gray. "Ok, if you say so. "

They both stepped back as Jellal stepped forward, with a smile and hand out. "I'm Jellal Fernandez, it's nice to meet you."
