★★★ - Lego Dimensions Pairings (11/01/2015)

On September 27, 2015 Lego released a game called Lego Dimensions. In this game various characters find themselves crossing from their fandoms to the fandoms of other characters. The games plays like the other Lego games, but in this game there is a unique story line for all of the characters. The way one utilizes characters in the game has also changed where one can get a new character every single time they purchase a new set.

Of course... not everybody can afford to by all of the sets to get the full range of the game, so why not have this challenge instead? The challenge for this ★ Fanfic Challenge is to write a story shipping each character released for the series with another character in the series. In most cases the shipping involves

Rules

1. Follow all the basic rules put down under the rules section.

2. Stories should not use the usual ★ Fanfic Challenge tags, but use instead the #legodimensionspairing tag along with a crossover tag. A crossover between DC and Wizard of Oz would use the tag #DC-wizardofoz as well as the tags #DC and #wizardofoz. The tags should also include a pairing tag.

3. Each crossover must only ship two characters from any given fandom for each story, and each pairing may only be used once. The only characters allowed are ones released as the main character for sets. Writers may include as many fandoms for their story as they wish, but use as needed. Less is sometimes more.

4. Stories don't have to be new, but they need to be 1,000 or more.

5. Writer's may not use any stories from the Lego Dimensions challenge for the Lego Dimensions Pairing challenge.

6. Writer's are not allowed to genderbend the characters for this challenge.

7. Incest pairings are not allowed. Pairings need to be unrequited, the story an AU where the two aren't related or the story features a family relationship instead.

8. Pedo pairings are not allowed. Pairings need to be unrequited, the younger character needs to be an adult in the story, or the story features a family or friendship relationship instead.

9. No pairings with animals. Pairings need to be family or friendship relationships instead, or the writer needs to write an AU where the animal is human. Note: Unikitty can be used to parody Mary Sue pairings if you go with the AU where the animal is human. Stay Puft and Slimer fall into this category.

10. All pairings need to be requited unless the pairing is an incest pairing, a pedo pairing, a pairing with an animal, there is a major age gap where one character is old enough to be a parent, or one of the characters is just plain creepy and/or evil. (Can you really imagine a requited pairing for Cyberman from Doctor Who?)

11. No breaking up the pairings for preferred pairings.

12. The stories may not end tragically for those in the pairing.

13. The only love triangles allowed are for canon pairings. Canon pairings are pairings which are together at the beginning of the canon plot line, but not ones which get together later on, nor one-sided pairings.

Banned Fandoms - Any fandom outside of the fandoms listed.

Bonus Challenges - None at this point. The Lego Dimensions game plans on adding fandoms later on and more characters. (The latest added is Wave 7)
