Be sure to carefully read the Intro, Rules and Q&A pages before going any farther.
This challenge is inspired by the holiday contest for Fanfic Friday 2015. One of the major differences between this challenge, and the holiday contest lies in the fact the stories requested on people's wish lists need not be limited to a holiday theme. The minimum word count for writers is also set the same at one-thousand words, but there is no maximum word count. The goal of this challenge is to simply fulfill a request on someones wish list, and to do it to the best of your ability.
Rules for the Wish Lists
1. Add your wishlist to the comments.
2. While you can add multiple wishlists to the comments section, don't spam.
3. Keep the summary simple and to the point as the rest of your summary should include an alphabetical list of the fandoms on your wishlist for people to see. If you organize by subcategories then include this as well. Include this index as well at the beginning of the one part.
4. Requests should not simply be, "I want a story for fandom A", or "I want a story for pairing A". Give the writers a specific theme, and other details.
5. Do not make requests which are based off another persons fanfiction including your own. (Sorry, but no 1D fanfics based on After please. Nothing for Minecraft Diaries/My Street Either) Do not request stories to include any form of character bashing.
6. Your requests may though include OCs, crossovers and next generation requests. Any crossover request should go under both fandoms and simply shouldn't be about crossing the two together.
7. Don't request impossible pairings. While many parings are improbable, in other words unlikely to happen, an impossible pairing is the type of pairing where there is some kind of major conflict to getting the two characters together.
8. Don't request pairings which include incest, adult/minor, teacher/student unless one is discussing an AU situation where the characters aren't related to each other, the minor is now an adult and the student is no longer a student.
9. Do NOT include a link to your wish list in the comments section. Writers CAN find your wishlists via the tag given.
Rules for the Writer
1. Follow the rules set down in the general guidelines. Do not write a story for an already existing fanfic, or use character bashing even if the person requests such things. Don't fulfill any request which breaks the above rules. You may though fulfill requests regarding OCs, crossovers, and next generation requests for this one.
2. Tag your stories with the proper fandom tags, challenge tags and #★gift-a-fic
3. You may write for a story for any writers prompt once, and this is the limit – one story per prompt. The one exception since this is a gift for the other writer is if you decide you can do the prompt better then you did before.
4. Write to the best of your ability for this challenge as this story is going to be a gift to another writer.
5. Stories must be new.
6. Do NOT ask for prompts in the comments section. Check out the #★wishlist tag instead.
7. Dedicate the story to the person you're writing the prompt for unless they are now no longer a member, but feel free to post a reply to someone's wish list. Make sure any posting of your story is a reply to the comment.
8. Stories for yourself do not count.
