Every year new Christmas Movies come out with interesting titles. Take a title of a Christmas movie and use it for inspiration for a story which is at least 5,000 words. These stories also need to have within them the main traits most Christmas movies have. While not all Christmas movies have a happy ending, the movies do have a feel good ending. The good guys always win, and the girl always gets the guy when combined with the romance genre. Family also plays an important role even in the romance films, and if there isn't family then there is an emphasis on friendship. Family and friendship doesn't take a backseat to the romance, and instead helps the romance along. Here are some titles to get you started.

Angels Sing (2013)

A Christmas Carol (1938)

Home Alone (1990)

What are the rules?

1. Follow all the rules put down under the rules section.

2. All stories must be a new story you've never published before.

3. Tag your stories with the proper category tag, fandom tags, and x-mas-movietitle. For example, the Home Alone movie title would look like x-mas-homealone but also use the tag x-mas-movietitle in addition to that.

4. You can only use each title once per fandom. While it's true that Home Alone has sequels you can still only have one story which uses the Home Alone title. In other cases a particular title is used for more then one series. You still can't reuse the titles.

5. You may not use the plot from the movie you're using.

6. The title for your story must somehow incorporate the original title.

Banned Fandoms – You can't use the fandom for which the title comes from. For example, if you pick the title Home Alone you can not use the Home Alone fandom.

Bonus Challenge – Once you finish a story you can write a crossover between your story and the fandom from which the title comes from. Instead of the #x-mas-movietitle use #x-mas-title-x-over instead. Use the other tag as well.
