Nina sighed as she re-read the lines of her script for the last episode. Finding it relatively hard to stay awake, after what seemed like an eternal night of reading it over and over. She didn't know why it was throwing her off, she's done this many times before, reading the lines as either one of her many characters and acting it out perfectly. Maybe it had something to do with the lack of sleep, and stressful days. Deep in her thoughts, Nina was suddenly startled by Ian, having brung the both of them two large cup of coffees, which is what she exactly needed in these type of events.

"Nice to know I can still scare you" Ian grins, as he bent down some and attempted to kiss Nina, feeling slightly disappointed when she instead gave him her cheek to kiss on.

"Alright, what's the problem?" he says in annoyance. Having done this plenty of times before, finding it a habit of his to always insist there was a problem.

"Nothing.. I'm just really struggling with this script" Nina says defensively, as she takes a small sip of the coffee, then making a face after tasting the bitterness.

"Did you forget to add sugar?" She harshly chuckles, lifting her head up from the paper and giving her gaze now to Ian, who already had his ocean blue eyes piercing right to her. Enjoying the sight of Nina.

"Ohh.. uhh, sugar is right here" he replied as he reached for the sugar that was on top of the drink carrier. He reaches further more as he feels the small bags of sugar brush along his fingertips. "Here" he smiles as he waits for Nina to grab them from his palm.

She looks down at his hand that holds the many bags of sugar and takes them all.

"So we're almost done with this season" Ian comments as he takes small sips of his coffee. "Season 5 is yet to come" he adds on.

"Yeah.. I guess so, perhaps Julie will give us a break from all of this before we start off the next season" Nina says, keeping her head on the papers that sat on her lap, continuing to read the few lines of the last scene.

"Not to mention it's Delena's season" he grins still keeping his stare straight on Nina. "To think.. these two hated each other" he says as an after thought.

She signs as she's trying to keep her concentration towards her script, but instead picking it up and placing it on the armrest of the chair having much rather enjoy speaking to her boyfriend then worrying about the following episode. "I guess they didn't listen to us when we said, we'd much prefer our characters to not date" she mentions, remembering the interview about her and Ian's character.

"Well.." Ian starts off, soon to be interrupted by one of the cameramen, advising him to go on set to shoot his scene. He gets up as he begins walking to set, he turns his body, now walking backwards as he points his index fingers directly towards Nina "See you later for lunch?" he insisted. Nina slowly nodded, soon putting her full on attention on her script once again.

She studied it for less than 5 minutes until she heard heavy footsteps come towards her. She slowly looks up and sees the handsome man with beautiful emerald green eyes gaze at her for a moment, giving a warm smile.

"I take it you having trouble with the script there?" the man asks, having notice Nina's focus directly on the papers when approaching her.

"I just" Nina starts, wetting her lips "I just don't know what I should act out on when Elena confesses to Damon" Nina starts, having rub her temples, feeling the intense throbbing of her head. Paul anticipated her and sits down on the chair that was once occupied by Ian.

"Don't stress yourself out Neens" he assures the young woman. "You kill every scene.." he continues on with his great compliment, looking at her as she keeps rubbing her temples less harshly. "Whether you're Katherine, Elena, or the rest of those pain in the ass doppelgängers" he chuckle, trying to lighten up the mood. Nina chuckles at Paul's humor.

She feels a rather warm area on both checks, she was in fact blushing, having been delighted and reassured of her amazing talents. "Why can't you be serious for once?" The woman questions jokingly.

"Because I'm Paul Wesley" he says confidently as he opens his arms and shrugs.

She laughs lightly, having Paul succeed in easing the tension. She looks at him, taking in the frame of his face, the smoothness of it, of how amazing it actually was. Deep in her thoughts, she was interrupted when the tall man sitting in front of her clears his throat, she had caught herself.. staring at him?

Nina speaks up, wanting to desperately not put those thoughts into her mind, finding it difficult somehow to form a coherent sentence. "I was just--" She proceeds verbally, but changed her sentence the next second when she heard the sound and tone of her own voice seeming so nervous.

"Can you help me with something?" She blurts out, seeing the handsome man with the delicate green eyes look confused and surprised at such help. Paul was willing to help, he would do anything to help Nina out, he loved her in the most friendliest way.

"Course, what'd you need?" He says willingly, as he gives his full attention to the talented young woman.

"A break from all of this" Nina sarcastically says. All though she didn't quite figure out if it was sarcasm or it was an actual emotion of her's. The young actress had a feeling of exhaustion, she was soon becoming distant, without even noticing and it was no one's fault to blame. Everyone knew she wanted her own personal space for a while, but the man that was right in front of her did not fulfill her wish to be left alone, instead in the last following weeks he'd cheer her up, or offer to take her somewhere to lunch, knowing very well Nina would take any offer that involved food, all though she is a fit, healthy woman.

Paul sighs releasing the amount of oxygen he held in "That's tough Neens.." he pauses and licks his lips for a brief moment, Nina noticed, and for some unknown reason it stirred feelings.

"Trust me, I need a break from all this.... craziness too" he says, letting out a whole-heartily chuckle.

Attempting to assure her once again and lighten up her mood. He never liked seeing Nina like this, she was usually a energetic, funny girl that always gave random jump scares on set. He leans forward in his chair slightly and places his hand gently just above her knee.

She tensed up some, but did not show it enough to make Paul move his hand. She didn't want him to think that he makes her uncomfortable, all though he does but she doesn't want him to figure that out. She collected her thoughts and brought them aside to deal with another time. But how can she deny her emotional connection with this man across from her.

She insisted on changing the subject in her mind. Nina does the same gesture and places her right hand on top of Paul's left hand. She slowly moves her eyes to meet his. The emerald green eyes that she has always adored were looking at her chocolate brown ones.

"Thank you" She whispers to him sincerely. He looks down upon the hand that was above his own. Nina anticipated him, deciding whether or not to pull away.

Instead, Paul grabs her hand in his and caresses the back of it gently with his thumb. The young woman kept her gaze intently at the two hands which seemed to be a perfect fit, she looks back up, staring contently, seconds later he also brings his eyes among her own.

"Anything for you Neens"
