(Joshua's POV cont.)
I just got a little stroll through the dew colored hall way going to my Baby's office. I walked in into the very wide door of the Human Resource Department. Greeted few staffs and went straight to the last door.
I was about to knock when someone called me.
"Sir Joshua, sorry po. But Ms. Lia have a meeting with the Cebu organizers."
"Hi Thorie." lingon ko sabay bati. "Ganoon ba. Pero mag la-lunch na." sabay check ko sa relo ko. "By what time ba sila matatapos?" Thorie was Liana's new secretary. Nag pa-reassign kasi si Riza na dati n'yang secretary sa Iloilo. In a branch closer to her family.
"Sorry Sir. I don't have any idea po. Marami po ata silang pinag-uusapan."
"Siguro nga, next week na kasi ang annual conference. They must be finalizing some things. Thorie, can you tell her that I won't be able to join her for lunch. Knowing her, I doubt that she'll be able to check her phone after her meeting."
"Okay po Sir, I will inform Ms. Lia about it. Is there anything else you would like to leave her Sir?"
"None. Actually, I just drop by to tell her about it. Hindi niya kasi sinasagot ang phone n'ya. I thought it was just the usual phone under somewhere habit n'ya."napangiti lang si Thorie.
For sure alam na rin n'ya ang habit ng Baby ko. Hindi kasisya mahilig sa mga techy na bagay . Talo pa nga sya ni Juan sa mga games sa iPod ko. Ayaw pa kasing pumayag na bilhan ko ang bata kaya ayon iniiwan ko sadya sa bahay ang akin. Para magamit ni Juan whenever he wants.
" So, pano? Una na ako sa inyo." I intentionally made it louder so that the rest of the staff can hear me. Sabay -sabay na "Sige po Sir", tango at ngiti ang sagot nila sa akin.
" Ingat po Sir."
"Salamat. Kayo din Thorie." Kahit kilos astig at maangas t'ong si Thorie mabait at magalang naman pala. Knowing na si Liana mismo ng pumili sa kanya means another thing. Saka kung tititigan siya sa malapitan, maganda pala talaga s'ya. Although maangas talaga ang kilos. Madalas kasi s'yang eh binibida ni Liana sa akin.
My Baby got this unique way of looking at other people. She always see's potential in everyone. Lucky me to have her around. Soon, I will be the luckiest man in the world.

I am not assuming. I'm just hopeful about it. Give it to me guys. I've been keeping this feelings for years.

I was trying to review some documents when the elevator door opened. I went out without removing my eyes on the paper. I noticed a pair of black leather shoes not far from where I stand. I thought maybe somebody from any departments in this floor. Baka ba-baba to take lunch.
Nilingon ko pa pero tama namang pasara na ang pinto ng elevator kaya hindi ko narin na kita ang mukha n'ya.
"Good noon Tita Mara" malambing at pabulong kong bati sa executive assistant ni Atty. Alvarez.
"Ay sus na bata ka!" napaatras ako sa reaction nya. Habang siya ay hawak-hawak ang dibdib nya.
"Ginulat mo naman ako Joshua." She was trying to relax herself. I didn't expect that I'll shock her.
"Sorry po Tita, hindi ko po intention na gulatin kayo.. Dina-han dahan ko na nga po ang pagbati sa inyo."
" Hindi kasi kita na pansin anak. Masyado lang ata akong tuliro sa ginagawa ko kaya nagugulat ako ngayong araw na 'to."
"Hindi nyo po ba ako ine-expect na pumunta ngayong oras na to?" Mukha nga s'yang busy kanina nang dumating ako. Ang Dami n'yang hina-halongkat.
"Alam ko namang pupunta ka anak. Hindi lang siguro kita napansin."
