I woke up with karkles on top of me. So cute!- hell no. I'm not falling for him.
On quick impulse you pushed the adorabloodthirsy sleeping troll off you.
With a thump you heard a thousand curse words fly from the floor. "DAVE WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" You got up from the couch and walked to the door. "Wait! Do you wanna stay for some breakfast?it's not like I want you to if that's what you're thinking."

Somewhere at the strider house:

???: so anyway I was wondering if you've seen him.
Dirk: nah, sorry kid I haven't seen him in a-wait, do you hear that?
???:what
Dirk: a tsundere!
Back to story:
Karkats pov:
Why did he push me off the couch! That bastard.
And then he just walks past and ignores me! Ugh. I hate him! But, that's kinda ho- I mean-you know what fuck it.
"Wait! Do you wanna stay for some breakfast?it's not like I want you to if that's what you're thinking."  He turned back and gave a devilish smirk.(Sebastian smirk) "sure karkles.but you're making breakfast." I went to the kitchen and put on a random apron and went straight to cooking pancakes. What?! Can't a troll wear an apron? They're fashionable as fuck in my opinion.
Time skip
"Food's ready fuckass!" He yelled out the frame of the kitchen. Dave walked in and looked directly at Karkat's  apron. He walked over and kissed the trolls cheek softly and quietly walked to the table. "Strider?..." "look at your apron nubs" Karkat's looked down and instantly felt regret. The words "kiss the cook" in gray lining were strung about the apron. "Oh."  He brought the plates out and the duo started eating. "So what ever happened to eggbert?"  "Who?" "Your... boyfriend." "Oh, I don't know, I left with you." "Why'd you leave with me? You're eggbert's not mine." "I'm not anyone's .I'm my own self and I can make my own decisions." "But why me" "I don't know I guess, I. Just- fuck strider stop asking questions!" "You don't have to be so loud Karkat." "Strider don't call me th- wait you said karkat. Thanks." "I guess I'll be going. I finished my food so bye." "Um, do you maybe wanna watch a movie? " 
Dave pov:
I looked back to see karkles  looking down at the floor with small tears in his eyes. What happened?!

Normal pov:
Dave ran towards Karkat and gave him a hug. "What's wrong karkles?" The troll sniffled and tugged on dave's hoodie." I don't wanna be alone." " what about kankri?" "All he ever does is criticize and lecture me. And he doesn't even live here, he sure acts like it though!I just can't do it anymore!"  "It's ok I'll stay with you." Karkat stopped sniffling and looked up at Dave with sparkling eyes."thank you."

At that moment the two locked eyes and slowly learned more about each other. Almost like someone had opened a gateway to all of their true feelings, desires, aspirations,hopes, and dreams. They slowly crept closer and closer to each other's lips until they final-
"Hey Karkat i was just dropping- Dave?"
They looked to the door in surprise to see John, tears filled his eyes as he slowly dropped a bag.
"John! It's not what it-" "I don't wanna hear it Karkat." Karkat jumped away from Dave and tried to run to John who stopped him midway.
" choose." Karkat looked in confusion to john's words. " it's either me or Dave. So choose."  Karkat stood there as tears slowly came back. "Aww are you gonna cry because of this little mess you put yourself in? Go ahead cry maybe after you can go find another person to cheat on me with!"
"That's enough John! Come on Karkat, it's ok." Dave picked Karkat up and carried him to his room where he locked the door behind him. Karkat walked to a corner and stared. " are you ok  buddy?" "No. Nothing is ok. I'm not fine I'll never be fine WHEN WILL ANYTHING EVR BE FINE HUH?!" "You don't need him. You may not see it but there are people out there that truly love you and would do anything for you. Why would you let any one person see you in dismay." Karkat looked at Dave and ran to him." I'm sorry for being a fuckup."  "You are not a fuck up! You are a person that I can't live without, even if we've only known each other for a few I don't even know anymore,days, I Lo- um, you have already become an important part of my life that I want to stay by my side. So don't do anything stupid, ok?" "Ok." The two gave each other a warm embrace and as they looked into each other's eyes another gate opened. This one revealing true emotions and feeling of the other.  They blocked out the entire world as they leaned closer and their lips connected. The kiss was ever so delicate and ended with a sweet nose rub.
Realizing what had happened they both just looked away awkwardly and made their way out the room.
"Um, you're still spending the day with me right?" "Of course" John was no where to be seen.
