Dave woke up to the smell of bacon and an emptiness on his side. He put on some clothes and walked to see Karkat and Jake in the kitchen. Of course Karkat had gotten a pair of clothes from your closet. He peeked from the corner of the door to see what they were doing.
" Karkat, the best way to make this plate is by toasting the bread, then adding a small amount of cheese. Next you would put eggs and ,to top,bacon. Here, try to make it!" The British boy said as he laid out the ingredients. Karkat put all of the ingredients together in perfect order. " and so that's it? Then you just serve it?" " it depends on who you give it to, if you were to give it to a lover, you could write a note or put something they like next to it, if it's for a friend, you would put a joke or something. You get it?" "Yeah, thanks English." The troll said as he set the food on the table. "Come on Karkat you should be happy in the morning!" " I know, I'm not a morning person, so I wouldn't do anything to peppy if I were you." Jake walked up to Karkat and gave a small hug." You know, I've seen someone walking around town that looks like you, but when I talked to him, he was a mouthful. I'm glad you're always kinda grumpy." The troll blushed and gave a small hug back." Thanks, that's probably my broth-" speaking of brothers, kankri ran through the door and straight to Karkat. " where's Dave?" "He's in his room, why?" Without answering, kankri ran to the room, Dave trying to get back before being caught. " Dave!" " what's wronG?"Kankri let out a laugh and pulled Dave in for a hug." My dear friend nothing's wrong, everything is perfect! Cronus and I are back together!" Dave's eyes widened. [ shit, if they're together then, what happened to bro?] " Dave, what's wrong? You seem worried." "Well, tell me how everything happened."
Kankri told the story from beginning to finish even the the lie he told. " he even said that he hadn't dated anyone in that time, isn't that something!" The vantas said with a dreamy tone. " Kankri, I really hate doing this but..." " Dave, you're my moirail remember? You can tell me anything." " well you see, Cronus... Lied" "w-what do you mean he lied?" " I'm sorry kan, he went out with my brother while you two were on a break." " your lying, you have to be!" " I'm not. I'm- I'm really sorry..." Kankri could feel the tears falling down his face. The happiness he felt now clouded with blunt depression. Dave pulled him into a hug slowly rubbing his back. " I can't believe I fell for it. He said he loved me." Kankri sobbed. He heard the door open and a deep laughs. Bro's laugh. " I'll be right back kan." The troll slowly nodded. Dave locked the door behind him, just incase a certain maroon blood was there. As he walked into the living room he saw bro, Karkat, Jake, and Cronus. " hey bro where've you been?!" " ah well I was spendin' time with Cronus, didn't I tell ya that when I left?" Dave looked at Cronus with a fake smile turning to Karkat. " hey, kitten. Can I talk to you for a second?" Karkat got up and followed Dave into his room. " Kankri, why are you crying?!" " Cronus went back to him and lied about dating my brother, can you please take care of him while I go back in there?" "Karkat nodded and hugged Kankri.

As Dave took his seat back on the couch, he sat next to Jake. " so what were you two doing that took so long?" Cronus asked, sneaking a flirty wink at Dave. " oh you know, I was just telling him about a plan we might do for our date." He said trying to restrain himself from slapping him. " I swear lil' bro, you are somethin' else, everyday you bring a new one home. What's the one that i saw before I left?" " oh you mean Kankri? He's just my bestfreind. In fact he's in my room, you want me to bring him out?" Cronus started sweating like a blueblood, grabbing onto bros arm. Dave walked to the his room seeing that Kankri calmed down. " he's out there, isn't he? " he asked with a cold tone In his voice. Dave nodded. " well then, let's go see him."
The troll said as he walked into the living room, sitting right next to Cronus. " hey Cronus, how have you been?" The trigger happy troll asked with a smile on his face. " I-I'm doing good kan." "I'm sorry if I interrupted anything. I'll go sit by Dave, it's slightly cramped." He sat close to dave laid his head on the boy's shoulder, Karkat doing the same on the other side. Dave wrapped his arms around them and pulled them close. Giving a small peck on the forehead to each. He could hear Cronus growling. " hey kan what were you gonna tell me ?" Dave asked jokingly. Kankri looked at Karkat to see a small nod and him snuggling his face in to Dave shoulder. Kankri smiled and gave Dave a soft kiss on the lips, soon grabbing onto his hair, small purrs coming from Kankri. Dave slowly pulled him closer, making sure to rub against kankri. A slight whimper came out of the troll's mouth.Karkat finally looked up and got the message. As much as he hated it, he went with it."you wouldn't mind having both of us, would you~?" He said sitting on his lap. " I guess I wouldn't mind~" Dave looked to see Cronus with an angry glare and his face a deep maroon. Dave pulled Karkat in for a kiss making sure to rub kankri's horns. " Dave~ we shouldn't be doing this right now." "Oh relax kitten, we're all family here~" Kankri knocked off Karkat and straddled Dave's lap, pulling him in for a kiss. The blonde held onto kankri's butt, pulling it up so he to deepen the kiss. Dave stuck his tongue in kan's mouth, soon bitting on the troll's lower lip.kankri slightly rubbing against Dave reaching over to rub Karkat's horns.karkat leaned up hesitantly and started to kiss Dave's neck. Dave pulled away from the kiss and gave a smirk to kankri, who smirked at Karkat, who just sat there flustered. Kankri turned to face bro and Cronus. " just ya bestfriend huh?" Dave knew exactly what would make Cronus loose it. " well, not anymore. I mean now, kankri is mine,so is Karkat. I guess you could say I got a thing for kittens~" Cronus jumped up from his seat and gave a big kiss to bro. Bro being, well, bro, grabbed onto his horns and pulled him closer. When they pulled apart bro had a bright blush on his face. " Cronus! Save that for the bed. Anyway, we just stopped by to say hi. I'll be back in a few days." Bro said walking out the door, Cronus walking behind him stopping to flip off Dave. Jake looked to Dave questioningly. " strider... what happened between you and him, and you and Karkat!?" He asked. " Cronus tried to hook up with kankri and lied about dating bro. So we thought it wise to get back at him. Why, did you want some action~" Dave asked jokingly."W-what n-no!" Jake said blushing. Karkat just nudged him and gave a small smile. " it was just a joke English, but you know, I'm slowly starting to not hate you. " " really?!" Kankri looked at Dave with a small blush." Thanks for going along with the plan." " it was no problem kanny, you are my bestfriend." " Karkat, also, I really want to thank you for giving me permission." " don't make me barf kankri, just know that I still don't like you. I only helped you because you were crying." Kankri gave a small smile and hugged Karkat. " Kankri! Get off meeeeee!" " make me" karat struggled to break free only to be pinned to the floor. " Kankri, I swear to gog if you do not let go of me right no-"" oh just shut the fuck up and enjoy the brotherly love!" Kankri started to tickle Karkat, earning soft giggles from the troll. He soon leaned down for a kiss.Jake staring at Dave's natural expression." Is this normal?" " yeah, although it gets on my nerves I had to let it go. Ugh whatever I'm just gonna ignore it."Dave said eating the still warm plate of food on the table.
Jake sat down staring at them with a flustered look on his face.
The brothers didn't even notice as they started kissing each other's faces, small laughs filling the room. Karkat soon gained control and pinned Kankri down, giving him a big kiss. The troll started to kiss at kankri's lips softly. " Karkat stoop! That tickles~." Jake blushed heavily as he Karkat laugh. Kankri started to wrap his arms around karkat's neck, slowly pulling him closer to whisper in his ear." Karkat, you know I liked you, right?"Karkat laughed slightly as he got off of Kankri." Yeah, you weren't that good at hiding it, that's why you always blush when I hug you." Kankri looked at him with wide eyes as he sat up to face the troll. " no I don't!" Karkles pulled Kankri in for a hug and gave a small kiss to his hand, sure enough a blush dusted kankri's face. " I hate you Karkat." " right back at you, "chief"" Karkat said, mimicking Cronus voice
. Kankri's eyes lit with fire as he chased Karkat around the house. " YOU LITTLE BITCH I'M GONNA FUCKING RIP YOUR HEAD OFF!" Karkat jumped onto Dave who had just stood up from eating. Kankri ran up only to be kissed softly by Dave. His eyes turned their natural color as he melted into the kiss. Karkat bit Dave on the arm, pulling him away from kankri. " ow! What the fuck kitten?" Karkat jumped off of him and went to sit on the couch. Jake sat there with a pillow on his lap. " what's wrong with you English?" " n-nothing I just, um. Nothing" " let me guess, you don't top?"
