Dave pulled Kankri outside of the room, grabbing the key as he caught the elevator, " Dave what are you doing?! I know we are very close and all but please refrain from pulling me to places unbeknownst of me." Dave kissed him comfortingly, getting out of the hotel and into the car. " Dave, we are not going back on the road again!" " I know! Just hold on you're really gonna like this." After hours of driving, Kankri finally realized where they were." D-Dave... I thought we were waiting to come tomorrow..." " I know but I just thought you'd... Be happy about seeing him." " you can go, I'll stay in the car. I can tell you might want a private conversation with him if he's here." Dave sighed, getting out of the car and walking to the door. As he knocked, thumps were heard as a hand opened the door." What are you doing here strider, I told to not talk to Karkat. And it's almost the middle of the night by now." Dave frowned slightly clenching his fists in his pockets." I know, but can I please just talk to him, once?"  Jake fixed his glasses, a frustrated face fixed on Dave." You talked to him a few hours ago if I'm correct." " yes but-" " and he cried himself to sleep, so if really want to make him happy... let him calm down. You need to do that yourself." " h-he cried himself to sleep? I... can you please give him a message?" The Brit nodded, " tell him that I'm sorry, I was horrible for trying to lie to him, and about something that big. I miss him a lot, his smile, laughs, his eyes. I'm really sorry... I'll do anything for him.  I regret everything, I even regret everything I did with Kankri! This entire time I was just trying to get him, I love him, and... I'm pretending to be someone I'm not, I tried using Kankri as a way to remember you and it's not working. I just want you back, I'll do anything for you,... i love you."
By now Dave was in tears, his shades hiding the pain in his eyes." I-I will give him the message as soon as he wakes up..." Dave pulled Jake into a hug, holding on tightly." Thank you so much... you're a good man English, keep it that way."
Dave walked down back to his car.

" I'm such a fucking idiot! Here I am, yet again crying about a love. I hate this!... I knew I was just karkat's replacement, but my idiotic heart ignored the warnings and beat right into a trap. " Kankri jumped into the back of the car, crying quietly as the door opened." Kankri, sorry everything took so long I'm so-" " save your apology, you won't mean it." He cut the boy off, venom lining his throat as he spoke." Kanny-" "my name is Kankri and I like it to be used, and if it wouldn't be bothersome, leave. Me. Alone."
The tears fell harder as he stared into the floor hiding his face."Kankri-" " no, I talk. You listen. I'm just your silly little disposable toy until Karkat is back right? You regret everything you did with me.  You hide the fact that you talked to him today. If you truly feel that way then why the hell do I even bother trying to do this! I'd rather go back to my celibacy than deal with this, I'd rather be dead!" Dave sat there, the smile replaced with sadness."Kankri I don't regr-" " don't even try to back up on your words, I can tolerate a mistake, but I truly detest it when someone tries to make up excuses." " I'm not going back on my word! Don't you trust me?!" " honestly, at one point I did, then you said how you really felt and it just drizzled away. David I hope you plan on finding someone to talk to because I'm done. I tried to help you, I liked you, and when you said the same I smiled. It had been long time since that had ever happened, and now I regret it." The blonde pulled out the driveway and drove all the way back to the hotel, their bickering filling time. " you idiot! You really think I'm just going to run back to you and forget this ever happened?! Well David you have another thing coming if you think that I-"
" shut the fuck up already! You're so fucking annoying I can't even stand it anymore. Nobody even likes your lecture or fits, so just shut the fuck up about them. And your trigger warning, fucking useless! You know what I find triggering, you! Everything about you! Your hair, your eyes, I just hate you! Grab your shit from the room and I'm dropping you off at the nearest dump, that's the only place o see fit for trash!" Kankri shrunk back, tears stinging his eyes. " I- I..." he could barely speak, he didn't have the strength. He sat quietly, tears streaming down his face. " k-Kankri I didn't mean-" the troll put his hand up, stopping Dave. He got out the car and went to the room, grabbed his things, not speaking at all. When he got into the car again Dave had an apologetic look." Kan-" Kankri just shook his head, taking off Dave's hoodie and tossing it to the front. " you can keep it... I-" the troll stared at Dave a fiery glare in his eyes, the anger almost bursting through. The drive to kankri's house was silent, only Dave's interrupted apologies. When they finally made it to the house, Kankri walked out, without a word, he slammed his front door closed and locked it.
Dave threw an angry punch at the wheel and drove to his house. [ ugh, you fucked up again... and there is no way in fixing it, you gonna have a b a d d a y~] as he shut his eyes, his only thought was of silence, the silence that drives a man mad.

" Jake is everything ok?" "Everything is fine Karkat just come on back to bed. Karkat pulled the covers over his head, Jake doing the same as he wrapped his arms around Karkat. " Karkat... I'm going to miss you..." The troll turned to face Jake smiling." Who said I'd leave just yet?" They shared a small kiss as they realized that it was already morning." Breakfast?" Karkat nodded As they raced to the kitchen, Dirk already waiting with bacon and eggs set up. " wow Dirk! You got up super early!" " well, I just wanted to make you two some breakfast before I left, I've gotta check on dickwad." He grabs his bags and went out the door, leaving the two boys to eat Alone." So who was at the door last night?" " um... Dave." Karkat paused as he was about to put a slice of bacon in his mouth." And what did he want?" " he just wanted to apologize for the things he did. He even said he regret what he did with Kankri... B-but I think-" " Jake... I'm not going to run back to him for an apology, i don't do that." They shared a warm embrace, never wanting to let go...

I'm sorry guys, I just can't write right now, I'm having some relationship issues. My bEsTfRiEnD is going out with my ex boyfriend who I still love. And his name happens to be Jake...  I'm so sorry, I promise I'll try to update but I can't promise it will be anything with that name for a while.
