Ashton's P.O.V
"Did you find anything?" I spoke as I came back into Sam's living room, I took off my rain soaked jacket and hung it up inside, Connor had been looking all afternoon for any kind of hint as to where Sam could be. I had been searching for hours, going to every place she could possibly be. It was now 11:25pm and there was still no luck.
"No. You?" Connor asked me. I shook my head. We all looked at each other so confused as to where she could be, none of us could've ever thought that she would take off like that.
"I got about three quarters of the way through the phone book but there's been no luck. I can't keep ringing people at half eleven at night. I'll try again in the morning." Connor said . I could tell that he must've been more worried than all of us, they've been friends forever and to find out your best friend is missing, must hurt like shit.
"Did you talk to Aaron?" Michael asked Connor.
"Yeah, he was just coming back from Wisconsin, he left straight away, he should be here any minute." I nodded my head and sat down on the sofa.
"Why did she leave?" Michael asked, I guessed it was aimed at Connor.
"I have... no idea, something happened around this time last year, but she would never tell me, every time I brought it up she would get so scared and just tell me to drop it. She told me the only person who knew was Aaron but that he didn't even now all of it." He sighed and shook his head.
"What do you mean she was scared?" I asked him standing up from the couch to walk over to him.
"I mean, it was like she had seen a ghost, every time I mentioned it, she wold go all pale, she used to have panic attacks ad wake up in the middle of the night, she used to make Aaron drive her out of the state most weekends, but I never knew why as much as I tried to find out."
"Yeah I remember that, she used to flunk classes every Friday afternoon for about 2 months." Calum added.
"Oh yeah, and there was this guy, I never met him or knew what his name was but he used to always be with Sam, not just a few times, every were she went, he used to pick her up from school every day and drop her off. She used to try and dodge me all the time, I thought she was pissed about something because she never used to tell me anything, we never hung out." Cnnor said, I could see him racking his brain for any more information on Sam's where abouts.
"What, wait, what that makes no sense, so something happened last year, and then Luke and I have a fight and she takes off. That's just not right." I said, I could feel myself getting frustrated so I took a seat once again on the sofa to try and calm myself down.
"Maybe it brought back bad memories of something..." Michael said.
"Like what?" Luke asked.
"... I have no idea."
"Can we please do something instead of just sitting here doing nothing!" I shouted, getting up from the couch.
"What do you suggest we do Ashton?" Luke snarled at me walking forwards.
"Anything but what were doing now. Nothing!" I said, stepping closer towards him.
"Well please if you have a better suggestion, lay it on me." He replied, he was only a few inches away from me now, and I already wanted to punch him in the face.
"Maybe you should stop being such a fucking ass hole, and try and think of something." I shouted in his face, Luke was taller than me but I could still beat the shit out of him.
"Guys we really don't need this right now." Calum said stepping in between Luke and I, he made a significant gap between us.
"Yeah guys, please stop, you can kill each other after we find Sam." Michael added.
"Can't you just call Aaron and ask him what to do?" I said pinching the bridge of my nose in frustration.
"Fine, If it'll make you both shut up." Connor replied, I gave him a sarcastic smirk and waited for him to dial the phone.
"Hey Aaron it's Connor... Yeah, what do you what do you want us to do... We've tried calling her she's not answering the phone... Yeah were still trying... I tried calling everyone in your phone book, but no ones seen her... yeah alright... ok mate see you soon, bye." Connor sighed as he hung up the phone.
"The guys a fucking mess, he can't even talk straight, he just told us to try and keep looking for her until he can come here and get the full story."
"Fuck." I said under my breathe, we all resumed our places, but after about 3 minutes of no one speaking I got up and got my jacket off the coat hanger.
"Where are you going?" Michael asked me.
"I'm going to see if I can find her, I'm not gonna sit here and do nothing, until her brother gets here." I said not looking back over to them but putting my jacket on.
"I'll come with you." Calum said walking up to me.
"No, don't. I think better if I'm on my own, and we'll cover more ground if we split up." I said looking at Calum. "I'll see you in the morning." With that I walked out the door and didn't turn back. Getting in my car and going to find my baby.
