The next morning I woke up to the sound of Connor singing in the shower. He was singing Nickleback Edge of a revoloution. I couldn't help but laugh as his singing was terrible. He came out the shower and walked down the hallway back to spare room, it was basically his room and he styed there whenever he crashed at mine. I woke upto Benji at the end of my bed and he looked so cute just lying there."Hey boy." I said in a baby voice as he came up to me and licked my face, "Who's a good boy? Yes."
"Morning." He said as he walked passed my room down the hallway and emerged through my door. Benji barked. "Morning Benji."
"Morning Connor." I said back to him. Connor was a good looking guy and alot of the girls at school fancied him but, we could never date that would just be too weird. I looked at the clock in my room after i finished geting ready. 8:15, perfect.
"Connor, come on, I'm walking out the door now." I said shouting back up the stars as i grabbed my coffee and my keys from off the kitchen table.
"Coming." He said running down the stairs.
"Coffee!" I said handing his a thermos with his coffee inside.
"Thank you." Connor had stayed round mine so many times now that we had a little routine, and it worked like clockwork so far and so we just kinda stuck to it. "Bye Benj." I said shutting the front door. I had had a couple problems with my car the night before and prayed that it worked.
"Come on, come on, come on." I said to my car with Connor in the passenger seat looking rather unimpressed, the car engine, ticked over for a moment but wouldn't start.
"No, come on. START!" I said hitting the steering wheel, the engine started and i rejoiced. "aha yes baby." Connor looked at me with a sigh of relief and we started talking about the new Holley carberator i was going to pick up tomorrow night and see if he wanted to come with.
"Ah sorry i can't I have to take Daisy to this after school thing tomorrow i wish i could." I told him it was fine and we spent the rest of the car ride discussing nothing really but still keeping the conversation going.
When we arrived at school and I had parked, we both got out the car and were greeted by glares from Faith and her Minyons. We both just smiled super sarcastically and carried on walking towards the school, Ashton continued his ongoing glare from last night as we walked into the school. Him Luke Calum and Michael were all standing by there lockers, which of course were all next to eachother. Luke smiled at me and I smiled back not thinking anything of it. Ashton stared me and Connor down as we went to our lockers which were on the opposite side to them in the hallway.
"Hey Sam." Luke said as he walked passed me and down the corridor to the History department following Calum, Michael and Ashton who was obviously excorted by Faith.
"Hey." I replied. When last bell rang me and Connor said our goodbyes but new we would meet up for geometry second period.
This was my first History lesson since i had been back at school ,, which had only been a day, meaning that Connor wasn't in this class with me. I didn't really mind, History was a bit of a bore, purely because of the teacher, but it didn't bother me. I went and picked the seat i fancied and began to make myself at home, I took of my leather jacket and set my books on the desk i had chosen. Luke came and sat next to me which i didn't mind and Michael sat the other side of me. Ashton came and sat himself down next to Luke and he was obviously escorted by Faith who was clinging on to his bicep, like she would die if she didn't have hold of it. I found it funny ad chuckled to myself.
"What? Whats so funny?" Luke asked smiling at me.
"No it's nothing It's just---" I was cut off by Mrs Mckenzie.
"Hello class. Are we ready to stretch our minds today?" Don't be fooled she may sound interesting, but i ensure you she's is the most boring person in the entire world.
"Hey sorry i didn't text you last night." He said in a whisper eventhough everyone knew Mrs Mckenzie was partially deaf, it was kinda cute that he didn't wanna get caught.
"No, it's fine i wasn't expecting you to." I said attempting to stay partially focused on what Mrs Mckenzie was talking about eventhough that was something most people wished for including staff, i don't even know how she was still allowed to teach.
"Do you still think you can make it?" Luke said to me tapping my elbow slightly.
"Um yeah i'm pretty sure, my parents are out of town so i should be free." I replied back to him. I noticed Ashton beginning to eavesdrop or our converstaion which made Faith angrey because all the attention wasn't on her.
"Great."Luke said with a warm smile. I wanted to ask Luke if Connor could but i didn't know if he would be cool with it. I decided to ask him anyway.
"Hey would you mind if i brought my friend Connor?" I asked Luke i saw him smile drop slightly as he looked towards the board i looked towards where he was looking and put my focus back to what Mrs Mckenzie was saying waiting for his response.
"What you mean as like a date?" He asked me quietly. I laughed a little louder than expected which made Mrs Mckenzie turn around to think someone was talking to her. Just the thought of me and Connor dating was laughable.
"No no not at all, no my best friend Connor." I looked into his blue eyes still waiting for an answer.
"Oh right yeah sure." Luke exclaimed looking rather embaressed about the whole situation. I smiled at him once again and got back to Mrs Mckenzie, attempting to scribble down what i had missed whilst i was talking to Luke. I could feel Ashton glaring at me, I had no idea what his problem, before summer he never seemed to have a problem with me i mean we never really spoke, only that one time at Calum's party when him and i we dating party, the others never seemed to have a probalem with me, but he was acting like a right ass and i demanded to find out what his problem was.
Fifth period ended and i gave Connor another ride home, but this time i just dropped him off because we both had a ton of homeowrk to do. We said our goodbyes and i was so tired, i wasnt that hungry so i just skipped dinner, did my homework and went straight to bed, i felt exhausted.
