When I woke up, I was laying on a couch in an unfamiliar room. It looked kind of Renaissance themed, and was really cool. (Picture to the side)

“Hello?” I called out as I sat up, but I laid back down again because my head started throbbing. Everything hurt, especially my neck and my mouth. My mouth hurt more than when my wisdom teeth were growing. It felt like someone was stabbing my gums with dull knives.

“Owww,” I moaned and the man from the ally walked into the room holding what looked like a glass of red wine. (There's a picture of him to the side of the next chapter)

“How are you feeling?” he asked as he crouched down by me and felt my forehead.

“Like death,” I said and the man chuckled.

“That is not that bad of a comparison.”

“What do you mean?”

“Technically, you are dead,” he said as if it was an everyday thing.

“What?”

“I killed you and turned you into a vampire.”

“What?”

“Umm, I have explained everything to you,” he said slowly in his old fashion British accent.

“I’m a vampire?”

“Yes, and I must say, you are the first one I have made in quite a while so I may be a little out of practice with teaching you things.”

“What, so, let me get this straight. You’re a vampire.”

“Yes.”

“And you made me drink your blood.”

“Yes.”

“And then you killed me.”

“Yes.”

“And now I’m a vampire.”

“Yes.”

“What the fuck!”

“I thought you would be happy,” the boy said and he looked slightly hurt.

“When you said you could make things better, I didn’t think that you would be turning me into a fictional being.”

“Well, technically you are not fictional. Vampires are very much real.”

“Okay, now I’m pretty sure that either I’m dreaming or your drugged me.”

“Neither are correct.”

“So this is real?”

“Yep.”

“How can I be sure?”
