When I got back home, my eyes widened and my jaw dropped.

Danny was lying in the middle of the floor screaming and crying, and the boys were sitting up against the walls with their legs pulled up to their chests. They had their hands on their heads and looked like they were about to rip their hair out.

I gave the boys a shocked looked, and walked to Danny and picked him up. I started to bounce him, and after a few minutes, he calmed down.

"Nice job of taking care of Danny," I said sarcastically.

"H-how did you do that?" Harry asked as he stood up from the corner.

"I was a mum, remember?"

"Oh, yeah, I forgot," he said slowly.

"Can someone take him for a sec?" I asked and Liam took him from me.

I walked over to the kitchen, grabbed a bottle, and filled it with baby formula. I went back over to Liam, and gave him the bottle, and he fed Danny.

"Brittany, what would we do without you?" Zayn asked as he walked over to me and gave me a big hug.

"Well, for starters, Danny would probably starve," I told him and he let me go.

"You're right," Louis said.

"For future reference," I asked them, "let's say I go on vacation. Do you guys want me to take Danny with me, or leave him here with you?"

"Take him with you," they all replied together.

"Really?"

"We couldn't handle a baby for an hour!" Louis demanded.

"What makes you think we could watch him for a few days?" Zayn added.

"You guys just need practice," I said sweetly.

"Britt, he's done eating," Liam told me.

"Okay, now go and get a towel or washcloth and put it over your shoulder then burp him," I instructed.

"But-," Liam started.

"No 'buts,' go do it."

"Yes Mummy."

I spent the rest of the day teaching the boys how to take care of Danny, and it was very entertaining. It surprised me how little they knew about babies, even though s few of them had younger siblings.

"But why can't he just sit in his shit? He's going to just poop again," Louis complained as he started to take off Danny's diaper.

I asked him, "Why do you change your clothes all the time when they're just going to get dirty again? Because you want to be cleaned."

"This is repulsive!" he screamed.

I handed him a baby wiped. "Use it."

"He won't pee on me, will he?"

"I hope not," I said and took a step to the side.

"Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew," Louis said and then put the new diaper on him.
