Jace's suggestions, I hate to admit was indeed very impressive. The map he had outlined in order to state the routes were authentic. I never knew we had so many wrong routes under consideration while the main ones were being left alone with one or no sentinel at all. I would be lying if I said I never paid attention to the routes, however, I was never that well familiar with the dangers the main ones could bring if left alone without proper patrol.

"So we can construct it near the borders right?" Drake asked.

"Yeah," I mumbled, looking at the map placed on the table in front of me. Certain areas marked with red which needed to be taken under consideration.

A metal gate was suggested by Jace to be constructed near the borders to suppress any sort of unauthorized entrance. According to him, it would reduce the chances of our pack getting attacked and would tighten up our security and bring it to a whole new level.

"But don't you think it will not be off much use, since anyone can easily jump up and pass through those gates- instead of actually opening it and walking in. You see it still doesn't reduce the chances of getting attacked." I commented, my inner self filled with pride at the discovery of a fact which rejected Jace's plan completely.

Drake shook his head, "He not only suggested to build a gate, at the same time he said to hire some experts to construct an electric shock generator or something of that sort."

A scowl appeared on my face. Jace making decisions on behalf of me was something I didn't like at all. Yet like would be an understatement, I despised it.

"Stop scowling and just answer the question. What do you say about the proposal?" Drake rolled his eyes. "Before making any hateful comment out of jealousy, I would like to remind you that this is all for our own safety. Jace has no personal benefit from it."

"Sure. Whatever you say." I muttered sarcastically, scrunching a paper with my palm as I cursed Jace mentally. He was back at it, back at his usual tactics of impressing dad even though he was already the one to be favoured the most among the two of us. I knew he wanted to turn dad against me, even though he already was against me, to begin with, because, at the end of the day, I was not the perfect son.

"Ah! I see you two are discussing my suggestions." Jace said walking inside the office.

"You should knock before you enter, you know?" I shot a glare at him.

"Stop acting like our father." He rolled his eyes and made his way towards us, pulled out a chair and took a seat. "One is enough, don't need another to act like him."

An unexpected smile appeared on my lips as I soon covered it up with a cough before Jace got aware of it.

"So what do you think about the plan?" He asked pointing at the map placed in front of us.
