"So..what you're trying to say is that.. Luke lied?" I asked pushing my hair away from my eyes.

Ron pressed his lips into a thin line and looked at me. "Well Alpha Luke did hide a few facts."

"Isn't it all the same thing?" I asked eagerly, "You know, as lying?"

It was a lot to deal with. It all seemed too bizarre and unpredictable especially after a couple of packs went down just like that in the blink of an eye. They were burnt down while some were brutally killed to extinction. It was an inanimate atmosphere were death and greed lingered behind ready to assassinate.

"Depends," said Ron. He sat and stared at me for a moment, "-on how you actually pursue it."

Deep inside I knew Luke was trying to hide something from everyone. His behaviour and personality shifted drastically to an introvert which redeemed the chances of communication between us three, Neil, Luke, and I. His wounds seemed different for some reason. The cuts and bruises were not worthy of much of my concern whilst the burnt skin was- for it was not healing at all. And now, the entire graveyard of doom theory didn't hesitate to add more confusion to our current state of mentality.

"This never gets easier." Neil sighed. "First his disappearance, now his lies. Though I know there must be a reason behind it." He exhaled soon after and took a slight pause before asking, "Do you think we should confront him right now?"

"You should." Ron instantly nodded, "Indeed you guys should clear things out before any sort of dust appears in between the relationship of trust you three share." Ron was looking gloomy for some reason.

"But before that," I deadpanned, "For confronting- you do need the other person's existence which in this case seems- unattainable."

Neil furrowed his eyebrows, "He's still not back?"

"Nope."

"Can't you like..you know use your powers or spells to figure out where Luke is?" Neil asked Ron.

Ron rolled his eyes, "No. I can't."

"Why so?" Neil asked suspiciously. "You're a warlock after all."

"Warlock's are not meant to track people." He narrowed his eyes and glared at Neil. "I'm a warlock, not some person detector."

"Then what are warlocks capable of, huh-" Neil asked angrily.

"Many things which you werewolves are not meant to." Ron replied calmly, his voice was cold as ice as he avoided any sort of eye contact with Neil.

"I was wondering," I said putting an end to their vocal turbulence. "With all the hatred going around, werewolf to werewolf then hunters and vampires, when and how did exactly witches and sorcerers become acquaintances with werewolves?"

Neil muttered some words under his breath. Ron gave him a deadly glare and looked at me. He raised an eyebrow, "That's a..different question from what you usually ask. Oh, and Alina, you forgot to mention the shape shifters."

My lips curled up, "I was just curious." I admitted.

"It's a good question though." He smiled, "As far as I can recall, my mother once told me, during the time of Romero's imprisonment-inside his own room-due to the fear of being killed, he accidentally summoned a sorcerer. Jeez, I know it sounds a bit weird but that's what I was told." He laughed awkwardly, "And, ever since then the warlocks and the sorcerers ended up blending in a formal fellowship with werewolves."
