Chapter 12- Death and Sorrow

A week passes and nothing exciting happens. By the next week the group had noticed that Noah had disappeared. No one knew where he went. Dakota was starting to get worried and she started to cry when he wouldn't pick up his phone or come to her room at night. After 2 weeks the head master had sent out a search team. For two months the search team searched and found nothing. Dakota fell into a deep depression and nothing could get her out. Daliah had continued her regular schooling whilst growing closer to Jackson. Dakota became antisocial and lost all interest in everything. She started to skip classes.
"Dakota you need to come to class or you're going to be kicked out of the academy." Daliah explained to her one evening after dinner
"Well maybe I don't want to be in this hell. Everything here is shit and I don't want to live." Dakota said burying her face in a pillow.
"I'm going out want to come with?" Daliah asked as she finished brushing her hair.
"No I'm good." Dakota said lying in her bed her face in the pillow.
"Ok well join us if you want to just don't do anything stupid." Daliah said walking out the door.
Daliah walked over to Jackson's door and knocked.
"Hey." Jackson said to Daliah putting on his jacket
"Tree house. Now." Daliah said grabbing Jackson's arm and basically sprinting down the hall. The two headed toward the tree house, Daliah panicking and Jackson being dragged though the forest. Finally they got to the tree house and sat down at a table in the back of the tree house.
"We need to talk" they said in unison
"Ok you first" Jackson said to daliah
"Ok." Daliah said hesitating " Its a about Dakota she's really depressed she won't do anything and I need your help. She is one of my only friends here at the academy and I don't want her to leave." Daliah said slow paced and panicked.
"Well I have something to say about that. You know how Noah disappeared ?" Jackson said looking at the ground guilty and quiet.
"Yeah. If you know anything about it you have to tell someone Dakota can't deal with the torture anymore." Daliah said now slightly angered.
Jackson stared for a second not talking contemplating what to say.
"I want to be completely honest with you but you can't tell anyone." Jackson said
"Ok I wont" Daliah said siting up in her chair.
"I freaked out and did something I don't regret other than hurting a friend," Jackson paused " I killed Noah"
