Chapter 17- The Elites

"Well he's right" Sam said following Jackson out of the room. Daliah although couldn't wrap her mind around it. What was a game and why does everyone get it but me? Daliah thought. She finally got up from the room after a half an hour of thinking and headed to her room. On the door was a note.
Daliah Gades
Your room has been moved to the top floor. You will be in your own room. Gather your things and be there in 20 minutes.
Daliah read the note and immediately gathered her stuff. She climbed the stairs to the top floor. Across from the stair case was one room. The room was labeled with the title 'Elites'. Daliah pushed open the door and was greeted by Jackson, Sam, and another girl she had never seen before. The girl was about Daliahs height and looked her age.
"Hello there Daliah." the girl said "I am Ivan."
"There's a note on the table addressed to all of us." Sam said picking it.
"I'll read it" Daliah said taking the note
"Welcome to the elites. You have all been chosen because of skill, talent, power, or way of thought." Daliah paused and looked around confused. Why was she here than? She asked herself. " Although elites are usually a social status this year they mean something more. You are now the hope of evil kind."
"Ha these geniuses actually think were going to believe this? The elites are just the rich preppy students who never do anything right." Ivan said interrupting.
"Shut up small one I will snap you like a twig." Jackson said giving Ivan the evil eye. Daliah continued reading
"You are all warned and cautioned stay safe we all depend on you four." Daliah finished
"Well then. All I see here is that we are favorites and get to live in a penthouse together." Sam said walking over to the fridge in the kitchen.
"Well I see an opportunity." Jackson said walking into his room.
"Oh guys by the way it says we don't have to attend class and once the poison wears off the others we are not to go on campus or be seen during school hours." Daliah said dropping her satchel on the ground.
"So I'm gonna guess that we should go out to the tree house?" Sam asks
"Tree house?" Ivan questioned
"You'll see" Jackson said walking out the door. They walked down the winding stair case to the main hall of the dorms and down to the forest. Ivan followed close behind Daliah and Jackson who had been poking each other since they got out of the dorm.
"WOULD YOU TWO QUIT IT" Sam screamed almost loud enough to hear that the school.
"Would you shut up" Daliah said crossing her arms and continuing to the tree house.
"I think they like each other." Ivan said whispering to Sam
"I HEARD THAT" Daliah screamed back to them as she took down the later.
"Well Ivan welcome to the tree house." Daliah said plopping on the couch by the bar.
