Chapter 8- Bumping Into Shit

Daliah gets up from the table an walks back to her room with dumbstruck awe thinking about what Jackson said. She had always heard stories of shadow manipulators, since there where very few in the world. Daliah had known that they are self taught and have a high tendency to be extremely successful while also being seductive to those around them. She had dazed off thinking and ran into a pole. Wacking her head so hard she bled, she shifted into another animal to stop the pain. As an owl she flew up the stairs and ran into Sammy who was flying down the stairs.
"Ouch watch it little bird I will hurt you." Sammy said angrily as he flew strait at Daliah. Hands around her neck Daliah switched back to human.
Sammy immediately dropped Daliah.
"What the fuck man!?" Daliah screamed in his face
" I'm not the one flying around as those little fucking owls." Sammy said rolling his eyes
"Whatever" Daliah said as she got up and walked to her room holding her middle finger behind her at Sammy.
As she walked into the room she saw Dakota with a guy making out on her bed.
"Ehem" Daliah said pretending to clear her throat "Could you two kindly stop face mashing?"
"Chill Daliah" the guy said as he turned his head to her
"Umm excuse me this OUR room and it's past curfew so get out" Daliah snarked at him.
"Whatever. Bye baby." the guy said winking at Dakota and walking out.
"What the hell was that asshole?" Dakota screamed the minute the door closed
"That was a guy making out with you past curfew and if you don't mind I would like to get a decent amount of sleep before classes tomorrow thank you very much Dakota" Daliah said marching into the bathroom and slamming the door. Daliah couldn't stop thinking about Jackson and what he said. She took a shower. She walked out to find Dakota asleep. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. She was still wrapped in a towel as she looked out the peep hole to see Jackson standing at the door. Daliah glanced at the clock 10:30
She quickly threw on her uniformed pajamas and answered the door.
"Hello there Jackson." Daliah said in a sarcastic annoyed tone
" Hey look I don't want to be on your bad side so I came to apologise. It was stupid of me to mess with you. On the other hand I don't want you on my bad side either so if I do something to make you mad, don't lash out on me." Jackson said sincerely
"Ok apology accepted and I too am also sorry for yelling at you."
