Once Daliah and Jackson got down the last flight of stairs and out of the building they ran into a large open door to the school building. They found the flight of stairs to the second floor and saw a archway to the theater. Jackson and Daliah found some seats towards the front just as the ceremony started.
"Quiet down please" the head master says. She continues talk about rules, teachers, abilities and other things about the school. Meanwhile, Daliah has spaced out thinking too much about her sisters and the fight she had with her parents. Jackson taps her on the shoulder and she jumps.
"Are you paying any attention at all?" Jackson whispered in Daliah's ear
Daliah nodded her head lying as the head master called all new students to the stage.
"Please welcome our new students to Meddlers Academy." the headmaster said "Now go down the line and say your name and your ability" Multiple people from around the world state their names and their abilities. It comes to Daliah
"Daliah Gades, Shapeshifting"
There is a long pause before Jackson says anything even though he is right next to Daliah. He let's out a sigh
"Jackson Monroe, shadow manipulation"
The head masters gasps before quickly regathering herself and saying "Welcome new students of Meddlers Academy. You are all dismissed and have free time in till dinner"
The room clears quickly Daliah walks off the stage and waits for Jackson. While he is walking down the steps the headmaster taps his shoulder and takes him backstage. Daliah contemplates leaving but decides to stay and wait for him. She sits down in a seat right next to the stage. 15 minutes later Jackson walks back from backstage soon after comes the headmaster. Jackson and Daliah walk away but behind them the headmaster is closely watching.
"If you don't mind me asking What the hell happened back there?" Daliah said whispering to Jackson
"I'll tell you later" he says taking one last glare at the headmaster before they walk out of the theater and into the hall.

Wow 4 updates in one weekend how dare I. This is not going to be an average thing but thank you to all my friends who have been giving me confidence to write more and thanks to the real Jackson for making me write more. Any suggestions on abilities for side characters? Again sorry for the short chapter I usually try to keep them around 500 words or higher
