Isla and I finally made our way down stairs, it was nearly 4pm now and we'd planned for everyone to get here at 6, we still hadn't made any calls. I knew it would take a lot of persuading to get Beau here, I mean he actually had to get rid of Shay and Tabby for a night. Isla picked her crop top up from the floor and pulled it over her head, throwing me my shirt, which amazingly I caught and I placed it over my body. Isla walked I to the kitchen to get her phone and of course I followed, I felt like a puppy, I juts wanted to be with her all the time. She stood at the counter, I wrapped my arms around her resting my head in the crook of her neck and pecked her neck playfully. "Mmm Skip!" she mumbled, "Why did we leave the bedroom?" she questioned flirtatiously and turned to face me. I pinned her body up against the counter, my hands ran down her body, hers rested on my chest and she but her lip. "Ugh, I don't know. You're such a tease." I pulled her body into mine and pressed my lips to hers, she granted my tongue entry and she embraced the kiss. Every time we kissed, I felt knots in my stomach, she had this way of controlling my every move, I was in complete awe of her, I'd do anything she asked.

"Baby, if I don't call Beau now, I'm going to end up taking you back upstairs and it'll never happen." I said, pulling away from her, she gazed at me and smiled sweetly to herself, "would that be such a bad thing?". She bit her lip again and pulled at my wrist, leading me towards the stairs. I really couldn't contain myself much longer, she drove me crazy, I'd happily spend all day in bed with her, like we used to. I wanted Isla back and it was obvious she wanted me, there was just the business of our relationships to battle. We reached the bottom of the stairs and instead of walking up them she lead me into the living room and we slumped onto the sofa, sinking in the cushions. "you drive me crazy!" I grumbled and sat facing her, I leant in to kiss her, she laughed and ran out of the room. "You'll have to find me first!" she called in the direction of the kitchen, I got up and made my way towards her voice. To my surprise the kitchen was empty, I walked past the counter and turned the corner by the fridge to find the back door wide open. The warm summer air blew through the kitchen and warmed my body, I wish I'd worn something cooler but I was in a rush to get here. The sun was starting to set.

I stepped out onto the porch and saw the door to her treehouse open, the treehouse was her hideaway and I'd helped her build it before the accident. I'd laughed when she'd asked me to help her, she was 19, why did she need a treehouse? She explained to me that when she was younger, before her dad had left, she had a treehouse in her garden, when her parents argued her and her brother would hide in the treehouse and feel safe. It was cute, and I felt honoured to help her relive her childhood memories. This treehouse however was a bit more modern, it wasn't up in the tree like normal tree houses, because the tree was to old, but instead it was on a porch that wrapped around the tree. It was practically Isla's second bedroom away from the main house, it had a double bed, which took up most of the space, a flat screen television and an X-Box inside. When we were together, we spent almost every night in there, watching films and escaping from the rest of the world, it was our place. I secretly hoped Benji hadn't been in there, or anyone else for that matter, this and the cave were the two places I felt comfortable, the two places that meant more to me than anywhere else in the world.

I had only been to the cave once since the accident. When she fell, I knew that's where she had been and I wanted to see if she'd written anything when I'd broken up with her. Most of the old messages had been destroyed but one remained, 'Isla, will you marry me?' I'd written it in a hidden space, it was just a small reminder to myself that one day I'd ask her properly, that she was the one I wanted to spend my life with. I'd written it after seeing a goodbye message from her, I didn't want to ever lose her, I didn't think she would ever see it, but she had. She'd written 'yes' underneath. When I went back to the cave I'd drawn a heart around her answer and scrawled 'one day, I promise you that.' I knew she hadn't been there since the fall, she was too scared to even go near the beach, but somehow, it hadn't bothered me, I guess I wanted those messages to be forgotten after everything. But now that we were getting close again, I wanted her to see it, I wanted her to know I hadn't forgotten about her, that I was still completely in love with her. She was my everything and I couldn't lose her again.

I stepped out into the garden and made my way towards the treehouse, I could hear music playing quietly but I couldn't quite make it out, knowing Isla the way I did, it was most likely The xx. I reached the door, the fairy lights inside the house glistened, Isla laid on the bed peacefully, and the xx - Angles played. The music bounced around the wooden walls, making the whole room seem calm, she looked towards me as I closed the door and smiled "Hello stranger." she whispered. The bed took up 3/4 of the space and she was practically lying right in front of me, I leant over her and kissed her lips gently, she kissed me back and wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me closer. I propped myself up with my arms and laid over her, the kiss became more passionate and her lips moved down my neck. "I love you." she whispered when her lips reached my neck and she laid her head back down, our eyes met. The blue of her eyes looked amazing in the light, like oceans, I got lost in the, every time I gazed into them. "I love you too baby, I love you too." I whispered back unable to break eye contact.

We laid in silence for a while, it wasn't an awkward silence, it was comforting. Just being in her presence was enough to make anyone comfortable and with all the history between us, it was impossible to not love being with her. Suddenly her phone rang, breaking the silence and she reached to her side to pick it up. 'Sierra' she mouthed to me and sat up.

Isla: Hey you.

Sierra: heeey guuuurl, what's the update?

Isla: actually I was about to call you, Skip and I have put out differences aside and we think that it would a good idea to get everyone together tonight, here.

Sierra: YESYESYES! I've missed us being together, LUUUKKEE! We're all going to Isla's tonight, her and Skip have sorted things, we're having a Janoskians, Isla and Sierra reunion.

Luke & Jai: FUCK YES!!

Sierra: He said yes, Jai said yes too. I'll call James and see if him and Veronica are free.

Isla: haha good! Please do?! It would be the same without him, I've missed him so much and I need to meet the girl who's made my best friend fall head over heals! Skip is in charge of getting Beau here.

Sierra: Without the ugly sisters right?

Isla: oh my god Sierra! Yes.

Sierra: GOOD! We'll be right over! Love you

Isla: love you too

She hung up and smiled, "I guess I better phone Beau then?" I grumbled, knowing this wasn't going to be easy. She nodded, kissed my hand and pulled my phone from my pocket, thrusting it in my face. I dialled Beau's number and waited for a response.

Beau: Bro what's up? Where are you?

Skip: Isla's, we thought it was time we settled our differences and got the Janoskians back on track.

Beau: oh right, Tabby has been trying to call you..

Tabby: Is that Danny?!

Skip: yeah, I know. Ditch them for the night, everyone else is coming here, Sierra, Jai, Luke, James and Veronica. We need you Beaujob.

Beau: Mate, Tabby and Shay are here, they can come right?

Shay: Go where? A party?

Skip: we'll, I was hoping they wouldn't, it's not the old us if they're here.

Beau: What and Veronica being there is?

Skip: just trust me, I have shit to tell you. Get rid of them and be here at 7.

I hung up, doubtful that Beau would even show up. "Sierra text, James and Veronica are on their way, I'm so excited!" Isla's eyes lit up, I couldn't tell her about Beau's end of the conversation, especially when I was so doubtful. "we better get everything sorted then!" I replied and we made our way back to the house.
